  1. Just keep pumping, the grease gun will get too hard to pump once it's got enough grease in
  2. I've not heard of it before, I'd rather not put water in my engine though. I'd rather just put in a few liters of the expensive petrol in
  3. Yep, cheap fix, thanks to your info. Had a bit of head scratching due there being no way to get to the fixing screw, took a quick search on YouTube and a few seconds with a drill to solve the problem, must have been a mistake with the door panel

  5. Just fitted it, looks almost exactly like the original and works ? Only problem was there was no access hole to get to the retaining screw but there is now ?
  6. All sorted now, seems someone had tried to codge the offside front sensor in the past. decided to take it to a local diagnostics place to find out where the problem was, saved a lot of time and hassle

  8. On full lock you might be able to get a look at the caliper, I bought the wrong discs for mine, not sure why but there seems to be quite a few different diameters on the market.
  9. The disc in mine is from 2011. I had a look around last year and couldn't find anything more up to date for that type of sat nav unit
  10. Probably better off using a proper sat nav or smartphone. Standard one is dated and doesn't seem much good when compared to what's on the market these days
  11. I've ordered one to try, don't know how they can make and post them for that price! I'll let you know if they're any good
  12. Thanks for that nev, they look cheaply made but for that price you can't grumble
  13. The central locking will not lock the rear sliding door, door opens and closes ok, I'm guessing it's a motor but what should I be looking for? If I need a replacement, what do I search for?
  14. Mine used to kill the battery if I left the door open for too long gone, must have been the interior lights. Changed the battery and had no more issues
  15. I was thinking that, kids in the middle don't seem to have a problem, might need to look at an upgrade on the rear shocks, not sure it will do much to help the archaic rear suspension system though :-)
  16. Thanks for that but I think you went a little off track there :-) Doesn't happen in other cars and only seems to be the kids sitting in the back row
  17. Thanks for that info, I didnt realise they had a chain. Thought they were all belt driven. Handbook what's that? thought that was for lady drivers :-) I too have a lovely smug feeling whilst filling with gas at 41p/Ltr. Mpg will be even better now my handbrake has been freed up so it's not rubbing anymore

  19. Mine has only done 65k on 06 plate but it's got gas conversion too. So it sits idle ticking over to warm up before switching to gas more than a petrol car. Which the cambelt is alot more used than the milage would suggest.
  20. Bit of a strange question but Does anyone else have problems with rear passengers complaining about feeling sick on long journeys. I've just had it mot'd and nothing failed on the back end (bushes or suspension wise)
  21. It's not something simple, like the recent cold spell has killed the battery? Sorry if I'm just pointing out the obvious :-/
  22. I think, you don't buy a gv because you like the looks, you buy one because you need the space. There are far better looking, performing and economic people carriers out there but non can really match it for space, especially with the stow and go seats
  23. Just had a quote for mine £350 all in, so I'll be getting that sorted soon ☺
  24. They have massive discounts every weekend, was 41% this weekend, min has been 30% since before Xmas
  25. Just had an email this morning, GSF have 40% off all weekend! Nice saving if you need any parts and if you own a gv you probably do :-D Voucher code is FEB40
