  1. Hi all , it's been a while but the old girls still chugging along with very little fuss, however time has come to finally replace the exhaust and stop bodging it. Only problem is I can't find one anywhere, does anyone know and suppliers. Only place I can even find a picture is in thae US It's an 06 3.3 grand voyager with stow and go
  2. You might be on to something there. Unfortunately my missus won't even entertain driving it (too big she says) Going to swap the kids about, swap the eldest (11) to the middle row, her sister who is 4 is going to try the back row. Other daughter is 7 and she sits in the back row without a problem.
  3. Howdy, yeah they complain even when the widows are open, I was thinking its because of being so far back in the car, was looking at changing the bumpstops and drop links for better quality ones see if that stops any wobble that might be there. Don't really want to stiffen the ride as such just make it more stable I suppose
  4. I'm here to pick peoples brains and get some ideas. My kids keep complaining about feeling sick when sitting in the back row. My gv drives OK and has recently passed an mot so not thinking there is a problem with the suspension. Just wandering if anyone has any ideas of improvements that won't cost the earth.
  5. From you pictures the 2 silver one are grand and the blue one is not. They have blacked out rear windows to try to keep temperature down in the back as there are no proper opening windows just the vent windows. They do have their issues, a lot of electrical problems, if you do look at one play with every nob and switch make sure it functions as it should. Issues with suspension and brakes are common due to weight of the car. My parking brake has to be stripped and rebuilt before every mot. Front nearside tyre wear is high again due to weight. They don't have front leaf springs. Only leaf springs in the rear. They are a big heavy car so it takes it's toll on many of the running parts, not a problem if maintained regularly.
  6. Speed cameras shouldn't be set to the speed limit, there has to be a tolerance, I've heard its 10% to take into account that speedoes aren't that accurate but don't quote me on that I've not seen it in writing anywhere.
  7. Sounds close enough, I wouldn't worry about it too much
  8. I did the drop links about 20 months ago used aftermarket ones (moog I think) which seem to be lasting well
  9. You got my hopes up for a minute gordy. I'd owned mine for over 6 months before I realised there was stereo buttons on the back of the steering wheel :-D
  10. I run a cheap media player to play films straight from a USB stick, my 3 sockets are on the dash but I guess it works the same also needs power from cig lighter socket. Very cheap to do, I think my media player was under £20
  11. Same here is gordy saying he's got one for the tailgate round the back somewhere?
  12. Never done it but always thought it should have one, why there isn't a similar one to the button on the side doors
  13. On the chrysler remote there is a headphone button, this needs to be pressed for a small headphone emblem to apear on the head unit which then makes the screen come on. Not sure why but without that the screen does nothing (took me a while to figure that one out). Have you tried the aux button on the head unit?
  14. What set up do you have at the front? Mine is same model but 06 it has a stereo head unit at the top, ac/climate control in the middle and a dvd at the bottom. As far as my system goes you need the original remote to turn the screen on. I use media player running through the 3 inputs and power from the cig lighter socket.
  15. Had the same problem, doing some research I found the 3.3 needs almost 16 liters to fill the system completely. Mine took 6 liters to get the heaters working properly again but had no problems with engine temp.
  16. Headlights are fiddly, I've had them out a several times and always struggle, there must be a nack but I've not found it yet. From what I've figured it has to come out pointy end first (outside edge) if that's any help.
  17. Check the wiring and connections under the seat, can sometimes come lose with the normal use of the seat
  18. I don't know for sure but you can scroll through the distances so I guess if you press the set button on the distance you want it will set that as the distance to the next service. I could be wrong though I've never really looked at it too closely
  19. Whilst resetting the perform service indicator you may not have notice you can reset the distance to the next service. It starts at 3200km and goes up to about 14000km
  20. I've never had mine out but at a guess I would say no due to the restrictions on the space under there.
  21. There was some gunk around the old stat, not sure what they used to seal it previously. Seen some very odd repairs on it in the past on other things so who knows. Anyway going to keep a close eye in it for a while. Might give it a flush out before winter sets in to make sure there's nothing else in the coolant.
  22. Thanks for all your help Nev, feel a bit stupid now, turns out it was trapped wind added a bit more water it had a big 'burp' and hey presto the heaters started warming up.
