    Workshop Manual ?!

If you prefer paper, you can use the Haynes Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town And Country manual. 2008 thru 2012. This book is aimed at the US market and therefore does not cover RHD or Diesel models. Nevertheless it is still very useful.

  5. Looking foer a really good, but not madly priced GV, round about 08 ish, FSH, ideally not blacked out side windows/privacy glass, ideally not a black one too! No damage, and remeber, this is NOT the best place to unload a faulty car with hidden issues, to be fair, as I have been all over this forum to get a feel of what to look out for and avoid, but I appreciate 100% honesty in describing it if thats the case. Prefer NW area, dealers welcome if you can do a meaningful warranty too. Cheers!!

  6. Hi I need to sell my PT Cruiser as spares or repair / salvage due to a broken gearbox. The car is a 2005 2.2 Limited CRD with a little over 132,000 miles on the clock. In the two years I've owned it I've had a lot of the front suspension replaced, had a new red top battery, a new multifunction headlight switch and had just had two new tyres when the gear box went in November. I'd also fitted a second hand Witter tow bar but hadn't got around to having the electrics connected. I've had it serviced regularly and had just had the egr valve cleaned and refitted. It's a series 1 car in purple metallic with both keys and both remote key fobs, has all the Limited chrome and leather plus the electric glass sun roof. There are a few small scuffs on the bumper corners from previous owners but otherwise the body is good, clean and rust free. Everything was working before the gearbox failed, including air con and cruise control. The only other known faults are I was going to replace the thermostat as it has been running cold. Also something in the fan circuit has now started to overload the wiring since putting it in storage. I don't have the funds or know how so am having to sell. The car isn't driveable due to the gear box problem so will have to be trailered. Currently in storage near Southam, Warwickshire. Open to offers.

    Head Gasket Gone?

Hi there! Have you got white emulsified oil? Or oily deposits in the rad? Test the spark with an old lead and plug if you have them, one at a time, sit the plug on top of the cross member and observe the spark. I had far more severe symptoms on mine, but 3 were crap sparks, and it just went suddenly, ok on the trip out, garbage on start up to come home. If not try a new ignition coil - rockauto.com from the States can be cheaper than the UK!! I have just bought TWO coils, as mine went, after only 5 months, delivered in 3 days, for £70.00, all duties paid. Or of course ebay. If you were closer you could borrow one of mine!! Just taken a quick look on ebay and £35.95 from Telford inc delivery, bargain.
