  1. Flushing would be a good thing on a 5 yearly service put on a 12 year old vehicle which might not have had a antifreeze change you can not expect a flash to clear a blocked radiator with the veins blocked solid for all you know it might have had some sort of sealer in for some reason in the past you just don't know I will sooner change a radiator then do a head gasket through overheating anytime that's the way I feel.
  2. HI I have just put a new rad in my voyager 2.8 crd flashing is a waste of time. The difference a new rad as made is so much better I can do 70mph all day and the gauge sits at one mark below half way uphill downhill loaded buy a new rad it will be worth it it used to set at halfway and go to 3/4 up hill and at 70mph+ when I took the sides of the old rad it was full of hard suit in the bottom it was like cement if you do change it look at Andy browns video on youtube and look at my add on below price of rad 73 pounds from Ebay.Jeff
  3. Well I got a Fox NT301 works great with my 2007 2.8 crd live data works good as well at around £55.00.
  4. Hi Yes mine does that but when I put my code reader on it comes up clear put the code is in the key dance for quite a while then after some time it goes do not worry get a code reader I use the Fox NT301 in works well on the Chrysler got it from Ebay good luck. Jeff
  5. And a Big thanks to Andy browns video on youtube makes it a lot easier.
  6. Hi Just a thought have you tried disconnecting the battery for about 15 minutes or so to reset the ecu when you do it put lights on so it drains all the power out. Jeff
  7. Hi It Was a blocked rad some of the veins were totally blocked at the botton of the rad thanks to all for there support. Jeff
  8. Hi soupstone thanks for your support I will be puting a new rad in I think it's generally blocked had a look at andy browns video so shouln't be to hard to change. Jeff
  9. Hi To all just got a new problem when I get to 70mph the temperature gauge goes up to 3 quarters put as soon as I come down to 60 it goes back to halfway quickiy water pump is ok no loss of water fan is working as it should no rubbish in front of rad the only thing I can think of is a blocked rad what do you think on this or am I missing something it's on a 2.8 crd 2007 thanks. Jeff
  10. Yes the ground cables they all go to canbus system and upset the lot definitely worth a cleanup tyring to get my friend to find out more for you. Jeff
  11. I had my cam belt done for £300 I supplied the cam belt kit my self water pump was new and cam belt had been done before make sure keep a record in case you sell it one day I would have saved £300 I'm in norfolk.
  12. On my 07 2.8 I changed the sensor underneath the alternator it's held on with 3 star bolts I think they are T15 or T25 that sensor can give you trouble like that but make sure your filter is tight as when I did mine it was lose and the filter housing can get hair cracks hope it helps. Jeff
  13. Hi You can not use the brakes from a 2008 on as it as different calipers stump axel ect.
  14. A 3.3 I hope you mean 2.8 the 2.8 will fit in with no problem it should have a copper washer sometimes two washers I have seen it done before as long as all the injector comes out you should be ok
  15. I would try to tighten it bit more as sometimes they need to be tight as there is a lot of pressure in the pipes.
