I was lucky with my car as i bought it 5 month's ago from s dealer. Iv had a few problems with car, but work was done under the sale of goods act. Thats wjy i had them do it. I had the quote justbincase i had to.pay and claim it back. But didn't need to go that way. I thinknits about a 3 1/2 hr job. That's why if you follow the link on here theres an easier and cheaper way of doing it.

Hi mine was done under warranty. But had quote first to see how much. My local garage wanted £267 supply and fit. The part is £80 from europarts.

Hi your thermostat is faulty. Mine was the same. Had it replaced on thursday. Now nice and warm in cabin.and temperature gauge just under half. Try looking here for alternative fitting Dashboard light newbie Its a few topics down on first page

Well iv been running 38 for a week and its made a difference.

Just an update. Iv finally got a new thermostat fitted under warranty. Car niw runs at the right temp and i habe hot air at last. But i have taken notes from the thermostat fitting from earlier posts incase it happens again to mine when out of warranty.

Going back to.the in hose stat. Thinking about it if heard a few talking about fitting one. So excuse my ignorance but how do they and where about on the cooling system are they fitted.im only asking as i know how a stat works and how most of them are fitted and the position. But these are new to me. Perhaps you could write something up about them for others out there who may have a problem with theres. If mine wasn't under warranty i would fit one as only £11 not like the 90 from europarts.

Hi mine can come on at anytime. As iv got a thermostat fault my car doesn't get past a quarter on gauge. I travel 25 miles to work and mines on the whole way. Unless i turn temperature down on heater. But then again i dont get much heat as stat is stuck open. But you will find it wont come on at all.if your fuel gauge is around the quarter or lower.

Hi all just wondering what tyre pressure people run. Iv got a chrysler voyager 2.8 crd. I run 36psi all round. But i do here of some running a few psi more so to stop soggy cornering. So my question is do i run at 36 psi or go for more psi and how.much more Cheers Daz

Hi its for you auxiliary heater. It comes on to help you warm up car. If you look under car nearside on uk models. You will find auxiliary heater.

Yes i would certainly recommend changing it.

Have you changed the fuel filter.

Hi rus does the vibration and judder come through steering wheel. As you could have a dodgy disc. If mating face wasn't cleaned properly before fitting discs. As for the other. Cant help sorry

Get on ebay and buy some bg244 dtick.it in your fuel. Thst will help clean system. Also take a look on www.powerenhancer.co.uk The do some magical stuff for cleaning components

I took top hose off and bottom hose off. Put a hose pise into top hose and see how much flow there is. It should pee through it if it backs up into top hose then its blocked. If you do replace stay away from Chinese rubbish. Ifitted a nissans rad only cost 115 as got it trade from my local suppliers. Plus dont forget decent antifreeze i used 7ltrs so roughly a 50/50 mix

Hi ya iv used accelera tyrrs before without any problem. I'll have to take a look round for wheels as theres alot out there to choose from. The iher thing id like to do is lower car. Front doesn't seem a problem but rear being leaf spring well im not to sure about that. But someone might have info on that

Hi the only time i had a problem was when car was under load. Yes towing. Snd we live close to the Dales so even up some of the steep hills without caravan on. But if you turn heater to full it wouldn't happen as the heater matrix would act as a radiator. Iv changed radiator and now all good the only other problem i have is the thermostat car doesnt go above a quarter on temp unless sitting in traffic the it creeps up slowly to just under half, but as soon as i drive it goes back down. So new stat needed
