    Head Gasket sorted out.

Head  tested&skimed £50 (cash in hand) , new 1.2mm head gasket for £30 from eBay
Old bolts as they do not stretch and are spot on 15.5cm long every single one and there is TEN of them not 18 or 16.

Anyway, now I need to clean all injectors as not efficient and has got low performance and need new washers as one of them leaks.

Engine is taping and smoke comes out.

    I hate MK5's

    - try to disconect battery for 30min - to reset BCM (pooy module that can lock you in a car if he will decide)

just manage to sold mine and back to solid MK4, not so many electrical issues and much better quality inside - proper leathers and solid quality plastics.

Ok I have remap the engine ECU
And I recommend this to all!

Best spent £250 on the car!

    Hi all,

I managed to fix the issue and hope that it will help some of you in the future to save some stress and money.

The problem was bad ground wire G300 that lives under the carpet next to the B pillars on each side of the car.

You must remove plastic covers and lift the carpet, undo the wire and give it a good clean.

I found this video for similar problem, that might help you to picture it.

    Update to 1130 code

I have found the problem which was causing my car to cut out when heavy on the foot, In my case it was the IPM (fusebox) ECU that is on the front, I tried cleaning all contacts aprox 49 but in the end it turned out that this unit that was faulty, I had a IPM unit in the garage with the ECU, after changing the IPM ECU took for test drive and was all okay, took for another test drive today aprox 60 mls with out a problem, so in my case it was the ECU on the front of the IPM (fusebox), i am not saying that this is the problem for all 1130 codes but in my case it was, just a signal drop for less than a second to the HP pump regulator which was enough to drop rail pressure, which the main ECU/PCM picks up on and cuts injector live feeds resulting in engine cut, that's why when you turn off ignition the main ECU resets and the cycle starts all over again, its worth checking that all terminals are clean on the IPM ECU unit, when removing pull it straight out, don't wobble from side to side 49 pins and make sure you have not bent any before putting back,  hope this helps

If you changed and tested everythnig?
    - Injectors Test.
    - High Pressure Valve
    - MAP Sensor (In inlet)
    - Fuel Filter
    - Turbo Actuator
    - Cleaned EGR and Inlet

Try to swap or at least clean Mass Air Flow Meter, if you know someone near who owns same car.

don't think that it will work that well on the Dieasel Voyager springs.

I rang the guys from Jeep-Chrysler Parts - and asked them for a complete struts with new springs and top mounts.

They  only have them for Petrol models MK4&MK5.

And they do not sale Diesel springs, + very hard to get the right one.

So I will have to use old once.

    Ok

It seams to work after reseting of the module.

To reset it you need to disconect positive lead from batterry for 10min.

I hava also checked IOD fuse (M13) and give it a clean.

Aparemtly it is the software failour and it happens now anf them.

Bad Crank sensor or ring  should activate EML - well it did on mine 2008 MK5 not 100% sure on MK4.

Usually it is the valve at the end of the fuel rail that leaks under gigh pressure and replacing him usually helps for 2-3 years.
+ clean or replace MAP sensor.
+ clean EGR if you can (or block it) it will help.

There was a very good video on YouTube while ago done by @@Andy from here targeting all areas of cut off problems.

    Ok @Admaalzo66

Ok I take that your Fuel Filter been changed recently, if not change it b4 you will do anything else.

    1. Remove the plastic engine cover x3 10mm
    2. Buy or get ~0.5cmx 1,5m or longer hose
    3. At the end of the Common Rail pressure pipe undo the return hose and try to block it with a screw for example. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5FnOU4MiIQ
    4. If you on your own you will need long hose - Connect your hose to the return valve ... and put the other end to the bottle (secured place to avoid silage).
    5. Start cranking engine as you do (in the morning pref - on cold) and watch if there is any fuel going out of the return valve - if yes - replace the valve at the end (Bosch only) ~£50 - £60.
    6. If no leak on cranking or running engine, try to rev it to 2.500k (max allowance on P gear) and watch if the valve is letting any fuel or not if yes replace if not go to no.7
    7. Remove inlet pressure sensor (Bosch part) 4 pin plug x1 hex nut bolt  - its in the inlet not far from the common rail (ref. to the picture attached)
    8. Use brake cleaner to clean in from any deposit - refit and test the cold start on car after few hrs.
    9. If not any better, buy new sensor (Bosch I paid ~ £25)

Also good tip to improve cold start is to buy set of new glow plugs, they are cheep as chips these days £10 each all you nee id long 10mm socket to replace them.
You need to remove alternator to get to the 1st glow plug.

    Hope this will help.

    Good Luck

Check the Oil pressure with a tester b4. I can check on mine just to compare if you like.

    I have completed the task

    -timing belt kit
    - new water pump

I used one of the black pins for my 2006 CRD 2.8 on the crank behind the starter.

And used difrent technic to put the timing belt on from what autoshaman showed on YouTube.

Basicly I placed the belt on tensioner first and then I moved up and pushed it in on the top gear. (Much easier)

My old belt was full of cracks, so I have changed it just in time, and all other bearings were worned and loud as you would expect after 6 years of constant use.

    Now engine runs much better.

    Next job clean EGR
