Dvd Remote

Hi all

 

Got a GV and the DVD screen refuses to come on, it works as can hear the movie the remote I have is broken big chunk if the circuit board is snapped.

 

Does anyone either have one kicking about or if I could send someone a learning remote that they could program up? Other than that they seem to go for daft money sadly.

Hi, seeing no one came forward to this post...

I assume your DVD screen does not come with any buttons?!

Mine works without the remote( I don't know if it had one as it come with buttons, it might as well had one initially)

Could you send me a picture of the remote's circuits, or just send it over and I may be able to fix it anyway...?

I have the same dvd problem. Even with the remote. Is there a fuse that may have gone somewhere? My radio volume has a mind of its own at times too, thought the issues may have been linked somewhere?

Do you have the headphone symbol on your headunit? , I found the screen wouldn't come on until that was on. I have a similar problem with the volume but I believe it's something to do with the memory rather than the dvd player

Had another play the other day. Remote seems to work for cd. So I'll check your idea.
