  20. Hi all For some strange reason I can not open my tailgate by hand using the handle but if I use the key fob (electric tailgate) it will open any suggestion will be of help. 22. Hi Ebay class 04-07 as mk3 it's very confusing. But if you stick to mk3 the parts you order will be the right ones always include your registration so they can check it's correct. So far I have ordered many bits for my 07 with no problems in the parts being incorrect. Hope this helps. Regards Mark
  23. Sorry about delay in telling how the problem was sorted. A friend suggested opening the tailgate manually several times thinking this may sort the problem.I tried this & it did make a small difference. So after reading other posts about resetting other items by disconnecting the battery in tried that & to my surprise it seemed to work although on the first opening of the tailgate using the key it seemed to make no difference. So I left it for a short time & tried again & to my surprise it worked tailgate opening & closing as it should do not too sure what the reset had done but all is now good.
  24. Thanks all for your help tailgate all sorted now.
  25. Hi all Does anyone have any idea how to reset the electric tailgate as mine seems to have adopted a mind of its own. Using the key the tailgate opens fully then starts to close until about half way back down then stops and if use the key fob again it opens fully then completely closes your help would be much appreciated.
