  1. Hi Just had the same fault with my side door, it seems to be the wiring harness in the track that usually breaks a wire, mine was the main black with re stripe and the black wire next to it, if you have a look on youtube there are a few videos on how to repair this, I actually removed the harness and put in two new wires and joined them where the harness does not move, ideally you will need a multimeter to just check the wiring if your not sure, I still checked all mine but it was clear once I got the harness out where the breaks were. just set it to continuity and check wiring from the plug on the sliding door to the green plug which is inside the pillar behind the drivers seat. 2. Thanks very much, I have found a complete unit on fleabay for £30 so at least I will have a spare motor and it will be cheaper than having a rod machined. Onto refurbing the gearbox next :-(
  3. Hi. I think when the tailgat is up you should be able to measure the tie rod. If you could measure it centre to centre please.
  4. Hi everyone, I'm afraid I need a little help, I have just bought a 2004 grand voyager and one of the problems is the rod that connects the rear tailgate motor to the tailgate has snapped and is missing. Is there anywhere to get the dimensions of the rod to have one made or do I have to buy the complete motor, any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  5. Hi everybody, just bought a 2004 grand voyager with problems so I did a Google search for Chrysler forums and you were the first UK one to spring up :-)
