  1. Hi all How can I tell if my 07 2.8crd has brake wear sensors without taking the wheels off. So I can purchase the right pads & discs as there seems to be a few different type of pads.

  5. Hi All Can anyone tell me what rpm should my 2.8crd auto be ticking over at? on start up my gv ticks over at about 850rpm, put it in gear & revs still stay at about 850rpm to me this seems high as car wants to pull away & if you let it go on tick over i get upto about 10mph without touching the throttle. I thought it should be somewhere around 750rpm. If so can you tell me where the adjustment screw is to lower the rpm. Many thanks.
  6. Hi I had a similar problem with my 57 gv 2.8crd, so took it to chrysler main dealer as local garage tried everything they could think of with no cure. car was put on their diagnostics machine & straight away identified the problem to be the gearbox control module relay part cost £90 + vat + fitting & about 20mins to change problem fixed. According to chrysler the relay was jamming open inside & causing the car to go in to limpmode once the car was warm & when the car cooled down the relay would close taking limpmode off until it got warm again. Hope this helps.
  7. Hi Trev Thanks for the reply, a lot of my journeys are only about 20-30 mins long but on this particular day i had been driving the car for around an hour, I used to have a citroen c8 (for my sins) & every so often that used to regenerate the dpf, and as i have only had my voyager for a month was not sure if they did the same thing. now i know that,s one worry out of the way. Regards Mark
  8. Hi all This is my first post i have a 2007 2.8crd xs grand voyager.
