  1. I think there are 3 pressure switches, so if they did two, its probably the other. Its the 2/4 pressure switch code. Any other codes as it maybe something else causing this?
  2. To take the files off hdd it needs to be placed into dealership /service mode and an external hdd connected.
  3. Just a few screws and stubbon pull clips and you need to have the door nearly shut.
  4. When does it stall, mainly from cold while manouvering?
  5. This is RT model, yes? Thrre are cables for inner and outer handles. I would suggest a peek inside to check they are connected.
  6. Ive just joined and have had some CJ experience, what were the questions you asked
  7. Does the inside handle work? Maybe worth pulling the door panel off and checking things are connected.
  8. 2.8 i presume? Resonably easy, but you obviously need to recover the gas 1st. Illegal to vent to atmosphere! 13mm sockets, extentions etc. Wind the pas drive belt on/off, no tensioner. Forgot to mention to make sure the new compressor has oil in it. Turn upsidedown and drain into a container the old pump, do the same with the new and compare the amount of oil, then refill.
  9. Your dealer cannot say that! They may charge a bit of time for investigation to see if its relivant, but the time for the bcm flash is 0.5.
  10. What oil is it? It should be atf 4. Anything else will give you difficult gear selection
  11. If your unsure of the service history, i would be inclined to just get on and do the timing belt kit. Major service would be all the filters, brake fluid and antifreeze. Tha sliding door may have a broken wire in the ladder track, most common.
  12. The deadlock is the problem, if you get the door open then you could remove the second lock wiring terminal from the latch wiring, but this may invalidate your insurance, but may be a temp fix until a new latch is fitted. The radio does not turn off if there is no signal to say the door has been opened, if set on delay, for any amount of time.
  13. If the steel plate has been removed from the alloy subframe, it needs to be torqued up and not murdered up with air tools and check the alloy subframe rear mounts are tight.
  14. The rockers are designed to break before any major damage occurs. If the belt has slipped causing valve contact/broken rockers, then it appears there is an issue from just having the belt done?? There is also an issue that the rollers on the rockers wear, breaking where not running in line, but cause a misfire where the valves are not opening.
