  1. .... And budget front tyres?
  2. Yes but it's basic spec, suspect it would be too expensive in comparison with the one I was looking at, it had performance pack, xenons and 7in nav
  3. There's a grey 17 plate comp on auction at Manheim basic spec so not ideal and minor cosmetic issues that would be interesting if cheap enough
  4. Bank loan/Cash, it's only the brakes probably an easy fix they were binding on the original test drive, as the car has been stood a few weeks and it's a 500 (and all fiat tbh) issue it didn't bother me too much but it's still the same at pick up hubs are getting hot so not drivable any distance. No one to deal with it immediately and no loan car available. So no option but to bail out. Lovely car though perfect spec competizione 180 with 7 inch media/nav and performance pack. It's stupid because all it probably needed was a thorough brake clean and the handbrake resetting. It did have a dent on the os wing edge but they've done that perfectly. The sales people seem oblivious that the brake issue is serious!
  5. Well what a pain, I've had no option but to reject the Abarth so I've still got the Delta I thought buying a New (to me) car was supposed to be a pleasure. Relatively simple fix if they'd done stuff thoroughly as they were aware of the issue but they didn't. Very deflating as the car was lovely
  6. The trouble was also you couldn't get limited spec with the multiair, typical of the ranges we get fobbed off with in the UK.I do like the limited spec the poltrona Frau leather is lovely
  7. Haven't really thought about it, I'll have to check back what I paid for them. They were were mega expensive list price!
  8. I always preferred petrol but it was never possible to get the right performance/economy balance on the ranges offered here. It's a shame they didn't do the 1.8 petrol turbo auto as the limited spec here. Anyway the 595 offers similar economy to the Delta and more grins per mile. I'm quite happy to have a small car I never use the back seats anyway.
  9. I should add it's about the least girly 500 you could possibly imagine!
  10. I'll miss it but I also miss the fun factor, can't really afford it so I hope I've not made a mistake! I'm getting the girly car comments already even before I've got it. I must admit all the anti diesel propaganda had got to me too!
  11. I bought them to get a full size spare at the time tbh they have tyres on but budget ones I don't recall the tread depth. I'm not overly bothered if I sell them or not tbh they are a very striking design and might come in for something else later on
  12. They need a full refurb but they are as rare as hen's teeth! I'll keep them unless someone offers me a good price
  13. I have a spare set of 18s in the garage somewhere, and a new set of oe mats ...oh and a set of illuminated Delta inner sill kick plates that I never got round to fitting
  14. Must look good in silver with the black roof, does it have the posh Chrome effect 17s or the racy 18s
  15. Mine has 81k, it's an early car 2011. I think it would be about £5k at a dealer, I'm bring realistic on price they ought to be worth more really.I don't think it's very saleable without the lancia bits so I wouldn't want to take them off
  16. 180hp competizione with sabelt carbon seats, mechanical LSD etc. It's a bit mental for an old fart tbh. You can easily get faster cars for the money, What you can't get is something with more soul.
  17. 2017 one, not cheap but best I could stretch to, it came up locally and spec was perfect so I couldn't resist (well beyond a stretch actually might regret it!)
  18. To be honest I'd like £4k, it's in very good order for a car of its age, drives absolutely great, wheels need refurb though (but are fitted with Goodyear F1 asymmetric 3 tyres, fronts almost new) and the moment the alarm is defective but I'm just awaiting a new rechargeable battery pack to hopefully put in the siren unit that should solve that one. It's a lovely spec, poltrona Frau leather, leather covered dash, electric heated front seats, sat nav, auto wipers and rear view mirror.
  19. 595 bought so the Delta is up for grabs, I just couldn't trade it in because A. the offer wasn't much and B. I'd rather it went to someone who'd appreciate it
  20. It's too much hassle to take it all off tbh and I think it's more saleable rebadged (at least in the circles I know)
  21. I need to see what I get offered for trade in but I realise I can't expect a fortune! Not definite that I'm changing but I'm looking for an Abarth 595. I suspect trade in value will be around £3k at which I must admit I'll feel sad to let it go, I'm looking for something a bit more fun though
  22. I might be selling my 2011 limited, if anyone out there is interested please message me. 81k second owner having owned it for 5 years generally in very good condition drives perfect. Lancia grille wheel centres and so on...
  23. I'm not convinced that the siren is the whole solution remains to be seen, I've been out in the car with the siren removed and it only sometimes flags 'alarm unavailable' on the dash when the car is started which kind of suggests there is maybe another fault elsewhere??
  24. Ok I've had the cover off and removed the sounder, inside the connections for the rechargable battery look blackened and the connector is in poor condition, battery voltage that should be approx 7.2v is 2.5 so either the battery is dead or the connectors aren't providing a proper contact for charging. I've removed the sounder for now until I can find a more permanent solution.
