  1. Saw a stunning sprint at a local meet not for sale but it was a real knock out red early twin carb one absolutely mint! I was gobsmacked
  2. Hmm 33 tbh I think they are a bit shabby compared to a 'Sud. Regarding the auto Beta it's not so much that it's an auto it that it's THAT auto chronically unreliable when new
  3. Auto box on those is a tragedy though
  4. Alfa gtv looks enticing but have you considered the boot space? It's literally like a glovebox totally impractical, fiat coupé is the way forward if that's the kind of thing you are after
  5. No I was thinking early modern a 135 bhp one
  6. Can't say that it has a flat spot but it comes alive over about 3k. I think 31 is probably low unless a car is either driven flat out or in urban use all the time, however it's not quite as economical as a 2 litre diesel Delta.
  7. You might get a really early 500 abarth in that bracket if you go through your trade connections? Only a 4 seater though and tbh I wouldn't want to put any adult in the back it's more like a parcel shelf! Other than that I reckon most interesting options will be too tired, some Japanese coupes seen underrated though Toyota Celica and so on....
  8. TBH I'm maybe exaggerating, I did factor in economy but of course it's all relative when having fun of course it eats fuel however it's still doing 38 mpg day to day and on the motorway when in picked it up, out of sport mode, it did well over 40. So it's pretty good for a fun machine
  9. Can't really afford to keep it though, having said that the abarth fuel consumption is erm .... Fairly heavy
  10. I'll let you know of I decide to sell them, haven't sold the car yet, tbh I might keep the wheels and might even keep the car! I kind of can't bear to sell it but might have to. It's on sorn at the moment
  11. Try the connector to the off side sensor, it's the most exposed and can get corroded. Easy to reach via the wheel arch
  12. Yes 490 miles on the clock
  13. Needs doing belt tensioners and water pump
  14. Depends! if it is as described as per discussion with the dealer it's perfect!
  15. Oh and something like 180hp in a car the same size as a shoe
  16. Red grey leather/alcantara carbon fibre seats mechanical limited slip diff black striping I'm not counting my chickens just yet though......
  17. I've agreed to buy a 2016 Comp subject to viewing I've seen it by video link looks great
  18. Out of curiosity I checked and I think they are not sold in Ireland, only in the North. I can get very good offers for new in UK anyway it's just that it's out of my already stretched budget as I want either a competizione or a 695 the lower models are all slightly compromised in one way or another
  19. I think it's at the back somewhere and you have to go from underneath. Never done it myself though so not sure but my local garage do grumble about it being awkward
  20. No but can't imagine it would be cheaper or shall we say cheap enough, I can get new here quite cheap but out of my budget I'm afraid. I've found another one now hopefully this time it'll be all ok. By the way any chance you found that alarm sounder? Repair didn't work I think my circuit board is damaged.
  21. Has to be series 4, so 2016 on, competizione 180 Ideally with 7 inch screen, sport pack would be a nice bonus. Prefer sabelt seats I think. Colour I'm not set on but a lot of them are just not for me, they are very personal in their look
  22. The MOMO only 1.6 diesel I think
  23. Delta limited? 165 diesel only or do you mean the competizione? 1.4 180hp t jet, not keen on the yellow as I think the appeal would wear off and I'm looking for one to keep a long while. Anyway it seems that I'm presently not going to find one soon in the right spec and price
  24. Looks like Vredestein tyres so not really budgets I have to wonder how switched on are the inspectors?
