  1. Hmmm, I was reading this thread only yesterday thinking 'what a nightmare' then today, on the motorway (same engine: 2.5 diesel), I was overtaking at just over 75mph, going uphill, giving it maybe 2500-2800 rpm and the engine warning light came on, along with significant loss of power. I put the clutch in immediately, the light went off, and power was available again. I then drove 300 miles, going between 55 and 70mph, with no repeat of the episode (I didn't thrash it again though, lol). I wonder if it's related to your problem?
  2. I'll have to go and look in the garage - it was given to us by my brother in law, when we bought our Galaxy, years ago. He had recently sold his Galaxy and had the roofbox and bars in an out building, assembled. We just attached the whole assembly to ours, without ever looking at it too closely, lol
  3. Oh, ok. I didn't really know that I'd be able to use the existing bars. So I can do away with the Thule bars and feet altogether then?

  5. These look good - I was looking at them for my new Chrysler, as the ones currently fitted look past their best: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CHRYSLER-GRAND-VOYAGER-SIDE-BARS-SIDEBARS-SIDE-STEPS-B2-STAINLESS-STEEL-01-07-/131037094218?hash=item1e826b614a:g:F9YAAOSw6DtYSAM3 Looks like the problem of standing water has been addressed by using a round profile?
  6. Hi everyone - I'm picking this up on Saturday: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201707067112205?make=CHRYSLER&advertising-location=at_cars&maximum-mileage=100000&model=GRAND%20VOYAGER&postcode=wf149lq&sort=sponsored&radius=1500&price-to=3500&onesearchad=Used&page=1 Any general advice? Also, more specifically, I want to attach my existing Thule roofbox (square section bars) and take the family to Ireland in it in August, so anyone with roofbox/rail experience gladly welcomed!
  7. Hi all - I googled 'chrysler grand voyager owners'
