Speaking as I was of her sodding megane - that happened to it about a year ago. One bulb went & the other went the following day - hence how I know it's an hour both sides. Different cars I know, but can happen. You assume they would both have originally been fitted the same day, first turned on the same day & done the same ever since.

I had all the lights bar one fail on my rear wiper/ heated seats switches so I found a new switch bank on eBay for £25 & just swapped the whole unit out. Took about 20 minutes.
Is a tad annoying the cruise buttons don't light up especially as these weren't cheap vehicles new.

As Andyb says the revs are limited to 2500 when not in gear.
I've owned quite a few autos as Mrs Woodie has an auto only licence & this is the only vehicle that's had a rev limiter on it for neutral.
Not sure why chrysler thought they had to put this on but they must have had some reasoning behind it.

I got quoted silly money by a few places for a new cat section - kwik fit wanted £600+, ats £500+ - so took it to the local garage i always use who did it for £260 all in. He said it was a bit of a pain to do, but he got it done.
Mine wasn't holed but was clanking so bad while idling that i couldn't hear Ken Bruce asking the questions on pop master.

I have a 2005 ltdxs 2.8 crd. The stow &go is superb for knocking in to a van in a matter of minutes. Also make sure the headphones work so the little ones can watch paw patrol while you tune in to radio 2 & theres none of that are we there yet from the back.
Mines done 118000 & apart from eating betteries its been good.
The gearbox is my achilies heel. 2 torque converters & a new clutch.
Check the gearbox oil - or better still have an auto box specialist look at it.
As said, these engines do have a particular sound & my kids also know when I'm arriving as they can tell the pitch of this engine. They are a wee bit agricultural to be honest -its a big engine to be a 4 pot - but if looked after will go on for a long time.
also if you can make sure it starts not only from cold but also when its warmed up. My mates one would never start again after it had warmed up even after changing half the sensors etc.

What age cars are you looking at as my 2005 is solid as & my mates one - 2006 - has no rust either. Had a late 90's one in the late 90's & that had none either
