  1. What if driven with the bolts loosen the tip mount became faulty?! Is it in the same area, plus the dread on the bolts might have damaged when loose, try new bolts and new mount?!?! Just guessing.
  2. Probably not related, at least I hope not, but I am working on a friend's car and the final diagnostic was chain timing (different car) not timed...it does exactly like that, very rough idle, no power, engine dies randomly and if the accelerator is pressed just a little bit it sounds a lot better. One thing I noticed ,that even after 5 mins running, the engine block was very hot when on mine it takes minutes until you realise is wormed up. As I said it may not be it but is something that can be easily checked.

If you meant specific voyager, I suggest grand voyager depending on fuel budget manual is cheaper to run.
  4. Welcome, I'm not sure which files are usually deleted when the software is downloaded...I forgot to mention that the antivirus and firewall should be off otherwise will send some of the files into quarantine. Every time a P1 code comes up it says manufacturer specification, I never looked into it, if I come across an updates I'll add them. P.S. that is most up to date version of it, I used to use 3.38. Enjoy
  5. Also in front of the battery you have the wipers' drainage, see if is connected properly, it could be that the water went in through there... Another thing, very unlikely unless a short, but the engine would turn over if the starter motor is connected directly to 12v... Try to find the circuit to it and check from there.
  6. Hi, I have in my garden from 2.5 2003 diesel, I specify diesel as it comes with turbo cooler. The measurements are: Between the top bracket is 51cm Whole length is about 94cm Aircon radiator is 78x44 cm plus the connections to the pipes on the left. Depth with the fans is about 22cm. I don't know if you wanted just the radiator or the whole assembly but this is what I have. Hope it helps.
  7. Hi, no it shouldn't turn over, The alarm shouldn't turn off by disconnecting the battery, it has a backup battery and it only turns off when you switch the key or operate the remote... Inspect the ignition barrel, if the engine turns over with the key to off position it must be something wrong in there
  8. Ok, disconnect the battery, remove all the fuses and relays (take a picture so you know how to put them back), with a hair dryer, dry the fuse box for a good half an hour even an hour if you have enough patience. By the sound of it water makes funny contact. Between the headlight and the battery is the ECU, with the battery disconnected, remove the plugs and look for water damage or corrosion. Last thing I can think of....I don't believe is that but to rule it out, would be the ignition barrel, you would have to rimove the plug behind it and check for damage. The inside ventilator will come on if you disconnect the battery and reconnecting it, that along with the radio on, I'm not sure why the lights are coming on( probably from the short you have somewhere) Hope it helps.
  9. Hi, I guess a short, a serious one, do you know how to get the faults on the dash? How to videos on YouTube...I guess it is called the key dance faults, or something like that. Do you have enough fuel in the tank? Are you using the same key as the last time that was working? Disconnect the battery for a while with minus and plus leads joined( the ones from the car), this might clear the light play. Was it left out in the rain...water might have gone to electrics? Do you hear the starter motor, if you have a prime pump, do you hear it in the first few seconds when the key is turned to on? Needs further investigation.

    Fuel Valve

Could explain what your question is, I personally don't get it? You have two, one at the fuel rail system and another one on the fuel pump, which one are you on about?
  11. It was there, when searched in the search bar next to "All codes" it didn't come up. Same wire fault. Hope it helps.
  12. Could you add the year too, I'll do a further search?
  13. Hi, I am using a program (some probably know it) and for those that don't know it I would like to share it with you. All the files needed for the installation are in the folder attached to the below link. On youtube you will find videos on how to install. Enjoy. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rbw862uakm1dhkl/AAAmsqoVtS7o7dFb8BH9xVWXa?dl=0 I am newish to dropbox sharing so if it doesn't work let me know and I'll fix it. Attached is a snapshot with a list of what it should be in the folder. @@andyb2000 remember I told you about more software, try this one.
  14. Hi, you don't specify the engine you have, however on 2.4 and 3.3 doesn't come up and for 2.5 and 2.8 crd please look at the picture attached.
  15. Hi, welcome to the club. The only problem I had due to its age was the rear left brake pipe corroded and eventually snapped. Also most of the grand voyager owners seem to have problems with the passenger side mirror...I am still looking for a fix. Other than that, if is not broken don't fix it What type of the remote do you have, is it with two buttons or the 4/5 buttons? if is the one with 4/5 do any of the buttons work? on top above the mirror you should have a display, going into menu you get to where it asks you if you want to lock the doors when driving, press yes and see if they lock ( you only have to drive few meters), also you should have a locking switch on the passenger door, try that too. Hope it helps.
  16. Hi, please the picture attached. Hope it helps.
  17. Please read other threads like "battery dying"... It has been discussed on the forum several times. The key should be taken out when in the right position, not fully to the left but a tooth forward. Hope it helps.
  18. In europe (in some places at least I noticed on our trips) it says on the pump something like " it may contain at least 5% biodiesel"
  19. ...only assumtions: Because they both do it, it is not at the end of the circuit, ie motors. I bet they come with self levelling (or auto levelling). I would look for the module that controls that, has nothing to do with the ballast and/or lamps, it is a module that I assume it works with mercury and so when you have full car (passengers and stuff in the boot) it will drop the angle down to a certain degree so the lights won't affect the incoming drivers. I personally don't have one and not familiar with the model (even though I wish I buy one...is just never the right time) but follow this lnik and see if you get it. You will have two sensors that will send info to a module, one of the three is faulty. http://www.300cforums.com/forums/uk-europe-regional-forum/115273-hid-auto-leveling-module-question.html#/topics/115273 Hope it helps.
  20. I noticed one thing, when checked for the promocode on my mobile it didn't work, on the desktop instead it did. Even so, with the discount (save33) came up at 48.23, so this time is still cheaper on carparts4less.
  21. Hi, their are few discussions about it on the forum, you could look through my posts too. Could you upload a picture with the ignition barrel? Is the way you pull out the key, at least it was in my case, some electrics are left on, you have to turn it all the way to the left and then a step to the right. Do you hear the buzz when open the door and the key is out of the ignition? Hope it helps.
  22. Hi, the brake light has three functions, as you can see from the lights, handbrake Brake pads warned(if fitted with sensors) Brake fluid Check the fluid in the reservoir Check the pads With the car elevated, check that the rear wheels are spinning freely (handbrake cable/caliper blocked) As per the tracoff button...I will investigate more into it and come back to you as on mine with the tracoff on the dash if the engine is switched off, when switched on again it doesn't come on( the traction conyrol it turns back on) Hope it helps.
  23. Now try disconnecting the battery maybe it will reset. Very unusual place to find a fault but hey good you find it.
  24. I've tried on the pipe it didn't give me any, it depends what is bought.
