Grand Voyager Gearbox

Hi everyone newbie here , need some advise . Looking at grand voyager to purchase .. found one cheap fully loaded unfortunately not stow and go. But hey they are huge inside .. it is fine in 1st and reverse but after that it pops into neutral.. tia

Hi there,

Don't touch it with a barge pole unless you're prepared to spend heavy time and money on most likely swapping the solenoids, gearbox, and then hopefully it won't come up with other ECU and comms errors after the battery has been disconnected for a while.

 

I just wouldn't.

 

There's usually a reason why a seller hasn't fixed it so it will sell for the money it's worth.

Hey, can I piggy back on this thread with a similar topic?

I just got an 08 2.8 CRD. We previously had a 54 2.5 CRD manual. I've never had an automatic before, and it's taking some getting used to; it seems like when I'm pulling away from stationary, I get really high revs as it goes through the first few gears, like up to around 3000rpm. Is this normal?
