  1. Hi, after checking the autodata that I have, no 17in tyres came out for grand voyager... I wonder if they came from a different model. I used to have 18in FROM A 300C.

However, all the other models and years show the tyre pressure as 2.5bar or 36psi ( except the 18in from 300c hemi which is 4.2bar).

A Canadian( doesn't matter mach where he's from, but he always drove american cars...that doesn't matter either) once told me that putting 40psi in all the tyres it should do, since than I always do it and never had problems.

    Hope it helps.

  2. This forum has proved indispensable for a Delta owner.

I had the misfortune of a snapped passenger side spring coil, originals come in pairs with a hefty £300 price tag. I am going for an advice I got from the forum for a suspension lowering eipache kit been backed and shipped and hopefully by next week will be fitted OK.

I will have surplus driver side and the 2 back ones old and bit rusty of course (11 reg) but can solve a problem and get a Delta back on the road.

I can find some space in the garage or the attic to keep these in case a mate in the forum needs them, can ship for what it costs.

Do you think we should set a spares thread....

  3. I was referring to the eipach pro suspension kit.

On the shared link that fleraflav posted.

It mentions Lancia delta iii diesel and petrol.

But the site didn't specify my engine as compatible.

My question was does it makes a difference in fitting from diesel to petrol cars. I thought spring coil fitting and suspension will be the same.

I am quite keen to order this kit and have it fitted but don't want any bad surprises on fitting.

  4. My petrol multi air passenger side coil broke.

Originals can be ordered and will cost 125 plus vat and labour.

Looking at changing all 4 with the eipach pro kit.

Do you think it makes a difference in fitting from diesel to petrol.

Last verdict on lowering the car, with road humps problem, not a problem?

Quoted £220 for labour to fit all 4, sounds reasonable?

  5. Dear Nello, likewise I shift to 6th gear as early as possible.

Rosso, I did read that for official mpg test they run the car with minimum weight and unrealistic conditions (which magazine), so I expected a difference but not that high. 60 was my own average estimation not the trip computer's , I am not that fast;)

    Cheers guys

  6. Hi,

I need to share with you guys something I noticed on my 1.4 multiair manual gearbox.

The second gear gives you quite a limited time torque, so you constantly need to drop to first gear whenever you are on a slope or something. I had the clutch disc replaced and still this is remarkably irritating. Compared to other cars that I have driven that's noticeable.

I am aware of features like Linearisation Torque Feedback (LTF), Torque Transfer Control (TTC) and Drive Steering Torque (DST), all of which are supposed to enhance torque, could it be that these are gone faulty. I got my car second hand so I need to find out whether that's simply something with the short gearbox lanes or do I need to pursue things further.

    Thanks
