Penguin Thanks for the response, the reason for question is that if I take out the extended warranty and the belt should have been done and it goes the warranty is invalidated but if as the garage says its 10 years or 100,000 miles and it goes then the warranty should be valid, but as you say I should get it done just for peace of mind anyway so thanks again for helping me decide to have it done regardless Steve
