hi i got v6 53 reg grand i put 36 in all round if you open your drivers door look on a pillar should tell you there on white sticker

look on e bay for second hand ecu wot type of garage charges that amount of labour most garages charge £50 hour plus vat

p0601 code is internal contoller failure look on e bay should get one there lot cheaper

your air con pump is on drivers side look under bonnet you should have drive belt layout diagram on slam panel

mine only happenened when engine warm as well

hi the code you have is fuel system too lean cylinder bank 1 had same problem on my 53 reg v6 i changed lambda senser you have 2 on yours upstream and downstream the one at top of cat on manifold is upstream bank1 lower one that goes into cat bank 2 once i changed senser (got mine from chrysler dealer £122 )still had same problem after lots of diagnosis it turned out i had intermittant fault on one of wires mine was negative wire that comes out senser auto electrican ran buy pass from negative wire on senser to body work cured problem my symptoms were you drive along go to accerate then lose power for about 5 secs then fine fault was intermittant would not happen all the time your senser is pretty easy to replace open your bonnet look behind intake manifold and ontop of exhaust manifold you will see senser it has electrcial wire that can be fiddly to get to but if you get hold of senser end of wire (it has like a coil spring like wire around base) follow that to connecter slide red clip backwards and pull connecter apart hopes this helps it increased my mpg by 6 mpg urban and 8 mpg on run

yes i think on your model water pump is connected to belt most cars that have cambelts always get water pump done

have you checked gearbox ecu

when you changed senser did you reset the system take your negative terminal off battery for 2 mins then reconnect this should reset system and clear code

when you fitted handbrake shoes did you replace springs and adjusters known as small parts kit done this on mine made a difference mine only travels 3 notches to engage handbrake

that aint bad for chrysler dealer thought remote might be at least 200quid if it was mine i would do it

hi change mine every 3 months dont do lot miles hence the frequent oil changes lucky if do 3000 miles in 3 months mines v6 53 reg with 91000 miles on clock

hi i got v6 petrol had t reg v6 used cheap oil in that it was a mistake now have 53 reg v6 only use castrol magnatec fully synthetic 5w 30 had car nearly 3 yrs now when bought car i done oil and filter change and put in castrol magnatec car runs beautifly you can hardly hear it on tick over

hi had work done noise gone getting discs off nightmare discs were fused to hub ending up taking off hub and disc together then hitting with hammer to separate as the back plate had handbrake adjuster cable attached took 2hrs to do rear of car handbrake only goes quarter way up used to go all way up result

replaced mine friday with 26 aero blades £5.25 on ebay 2003 grand voyager

have heard if you park near telegraph pole or lamp post that that can cause immobiliser fault it happenened to a owner on mk 1 t reg grand voyager they pushed it away from telegraph pole hey presto it started

check fuse or relays is all i can suggest

got friend of a friend whose mobile mechanic only gonna charge me £150 to do that includes oil and filter getting done this friday only use magnatec oil fully synthetic got oil and filter ( 5 litres ) from euro car parts £37.45p do my oil and filter every 3 months regardless of mileage

hi when i had my car moted after my rear end bump spoke to mot tester about the noise he said could be bearing making noise when its under load turning right and when apply brake it takes pressure off so i have ordered parts i got 2 rear hub and bearing assembly ( gonna replace both sides ) rear pads discs handbrake shoes handbrake repair kit and front disc pads thought might as well do job lot as gotta takes brakes off to do bearings ( gonna replace front brakes as well even though pads only 10 months old ) ordered parts from jeepchrysler parts off ebay costing me £233 for all parts the pads are ceramic gonna get done this week will let you know if it does trick
