  1. I would be thinking of the slave cylinder witch is part of the inside of the gearbox. If the clutch it was replaced at some point the slave cylinder my not have been . Look for fluid leaks, A leaking Slave cylinder give you clutch as they approach a junction the oil leaks out for a short time . Check the clutch resovoir to check fluid level. If you are lucky the fluid is just low ! Good luck. Mce
  2. First thing I'd look for is oil on the under side of the turbo .is could be a good few things. if the seals are breaking down its filling and jamming the turbo with oil.the it drains and clears but will keep happing. If its a turbo big or small any "Garrett turbo service guy" worth his salt, will tell you what is need and price it. By the way Garrett Turbo chargers are used in most situations. Good luck.
  3. Hi again. Does anyone know what Model and number VW engine is used in the 2009 CRD Sebring ? I should get the toque settings from that wearing my Wv hat. Also what model Mitsubishi manual box. Surely there must be some data out there . Thanks. Maurice.
  4. Hi there, if you go to a wheel or alloy wheel website . You will get ideas and if you don't fell like splashing out ,get a full set second hand . Alternatively go to your tyre guy he will tell you what will match easily. You would be amazed what will match your car. Good luck .
  5. Hi everyone, I have a 2009 black card with 52K on the clock. My wife derives it mostly, I really like it a lot fabulous standard equipment right down to the cooler for my drink. Of late I was unfortunate to have the starter Motor sheer off about 9 teeth from the flywheel. So I need to do a lot of work to the car. I intend to do the timing belt and water pump when I have so much ripping to do anyway. I first got the car at 24K .When I dropped the cowling under the engine I noticed a very slight inlet turbo leak . I need to change this o_ring also. I know at this stage some of you are getting misty eyed but this car has cost nothing to maintain for the last 2 years apart from full service every 10k. I really think they are a great buy. Anyway I tried to get "work shop manual" but all I can find is a glove box owner's manual. If Someone could help with the torque settings etc. Also useful tip the starter is the same as a Mitsubishi outlander. Thanks, Maurice.
