  3. Hi Andy yea it always starts first time so not sure if it's the injector it's self or a lose wire I'm gona have a fiddle later ..might pull on the wires to lol c if they r lose ?
  4. I found something on the Web about turning the key in the ignition a few times and it showed a code on the dash of p0204 that's says it's number 4 injector woohoo so I'm on the look out for one but does anyone know if I have to recode the injector or just a case of plug and play thx
  5. Hi all I have a 2004 2.8 crd can anyone tell me if it has both camshaft sensor and a crankshaft sensor as people call them the same thing but iv seen a video of some other 2.8 crd engines that have both one on top and one at tear of engine near the oil filter. Thx
  6. Hi m8 never heard of low pressure sensor. I got 2004 2.8 and had to replace input and output sensors on the auto box
  7. Hi my 2004 2.8 crd auto keeps cutting out. It drives fine then I hear a metal rattle ( like the noise when u stall the car) then it dies and the engine light comes on. It starts up straight away then the light goes out after a few minutes.it happened 3 times in 20 minutes on Friday then its run fine till today then it happened twice within minutes today . I done a oil and filter and fuel filter change yesterday hoping this wud help but no luck. Any help plz ?

  9. Hi guys and gals I got a 2.8 crd 2004 gv and need to change my fuel filter .I ordered 1 from euro car parts and received one that says mann wk854/7 but when removing mine it is a kc140 are these the same or is this the correct replacement one or do I need to get another kc140 any help plz
  10. Hi guys hope ur all well. I have had this problem with my central locking for ages now and iv seen lots of posts on the web as well as on here . So it works OK for awhile then I have to keep pulling the iod fuse when it stops working and then it works for awhile then stops again and its driving me mad . So I found a post that says the fuse for the central locking is labelled ( fuel heater) which i have found and it was blown ( 20amp) so I changed it then locked then unlocked the car checked the fuse again and its blown again .I done this 4 times and each time the fuse has blown .shud I try a 25 or 30 amp fuse or does anyone have any ideas why this is happening and what i shud try next. Thx

  12. Thx m8 I cleaned the mass flow air sensor today now need to change glow plugs as its on 120000 and I don't think they have ever been change just waiting for a kit to arrive just incase they brake up fingers crossed .but I'll let u no how I get on and thx for all the help m8

Hi guys my gv 2.8 crd has cut out on me twice now and the first time was accelerating hard on motorway .I saw some talk on a post from 2018 about fuel heater one was from andyb2000 and a film he made about problem areas to check but that ain't loading so any help wud be much appreciated. It only seems to cut out under hard acceleration engine off oil light on no steering or anything but when key turned off then on it fires back up no problem then seems to run OK. Thx

It drives OK in all gears but wud just fall into idle and gas peddle don't rev at all when pressed this started happening in drive so k put it in 3 and it was driving ok but now it happens in 3 also . No slipping just dead peddle I have tried my Fordell old and 3 snap on scan tools but no luck I have changed the solenoid and 2 sensors and tranny oil was clean no dirt no metal so I don't think its the tranny maybe the peddle not sure . Thx

  19. No pretty much the same which is how I broke the intercooler pipe . Bolt snapped in the gearbox. Just found a replacement in Ireland after 3 days of looking they are as rare as rocking horse poo
  20. Thx for all ur help guys I changed the solenoid but I have snapped the transmission intercooler pipe bolt going into the transmission. I managed to get the broken thread out the gear box but now I can't find a new bolt I have even tried to buy the whole intercooler pipes and all but with no luck ?

  22. hi Andy thx m8 that sounds about right . Have u ever changed the trans solenoid I think I might just change it as it wud be cheaper than a diagnostic then change it
  23. No car still has plenty of power in 3 gear and checked trans oil level and thats all good gave the trans a service awhile ago .any other ideas
  24. hi guys my gv has been losing all power when pressing the accelerator when driving in (d) drive but seems to drive fine when in 3 gear I have a engine light on but all the diagnostic tests I have done comes back with no fault found . Any ideas ? plz
