  1. Same thing happened to me a while back I think you need to go to the navigation screen and then press and hold the mute button for a few seconds - the mute symbol in the compass area should change
  2. You want page 382 - if dipped beams are on, pulling stalk towards steering wheel will activate screen and headlamp washers
  3. Thanks Mikey Tried removing the SD card and powering off the unit but no difference Do you mean disconnect the battery by "factory reset" or is there a specific reset procedure for the head unit - would pulling the relevant fuse do the same job? If I have to remove the unit, do you know where the GPS aerial is located and where the cable is routed between it and the head unit? - theres feck all info on this unit on line that I can find Cheers My signature is rabbit related "You know how that rabbit feels......"
  4. Hi all My sat nav has stopped working - can't seem to find any satellites - only noticed it yesterday and its no big problem as I know the way to and from work Just wondering if anyone has any ideas what might be the problem Its the Chrysler version (not aftermarket) I did kill a rabbit on the way home yesterday so maybe its karma catching up with me (wasn't deliberate) I realise the irony of my signature too
  5. I have Vredestein Ultrac Satin on mine - they are A rated for grip and C for economy Not sure how they compare to the others for comfort but I find them good overall
  6. If its a LTD then its a 2.0
  7. a quick look in my manual confirms that indeed you do have cornering headlights (adaptive lights) - default setting is ON - if the orange LED is lit, they are deactivated (pg 77 if you have it) the cornering fog light function is set on the dashboard display (small one under the gauges), using the buttons on the other side if the nav screen
  8. the 166 is the best looking saloon car in the world - they mustn't have been sold in Italy I guess
  9. Best of luck with the sale and glad you'll still keep in touch - your posts are always informative to a rookie like me
  10. Looks good and a bargain to boot - congratulations Glad to hear that everything still works - my rain sensor doesn't and on cold mornings, I keep getting low pressure warnings for the tyres Neither are a problem but the tyre pressure warnings are a pain in the hole
  11. Tidy work alright - I'll post mine over to you

    Delta Tyres

I got 4 Vredestein Ultrac Satin on the LTD a few months ago - around €75 each from Eiretyres (Delticom) plus €12 each to fit them - so far so good, not too noisy, grip seems fine to me The real clincher was that the profile was designed by Giugaro - how could I resist??
  13. Obviously the Germans don't give a crap about road safety, the fokkers
  14. Why in the name of god can I not switch to main beams with the auto light setting on the stalk? Our German friends seem to have no problems with this type of multitasking
  15. Reading between the lines, I'd say the family member won't be getting a Christmas card this year
  16. Looks tidy alright Mileage is very low Only on 17" wheels which can be a good or bad thing I suppose
  17. Yes, proud owner of a 2.0 LTD - too big a job (expensive) to change mine to a Lancia so I'm sticking with the Chrysler (I prefer the Chrysler grille too)
  18. Hi Vincey Excellent work going on there - keep up the good work If you ever want rid of the Chrysler wheel centres, I'll gladly buy them - they're impossible to find anywhere Cheers
  19. Yes, when I was looking for mine the dealer was telling prospective customers that it was an ameican car so parts would be difficult to find and expensive Fair play to him I suppose - he probably put a few off leaving the field free to me I take it back about the colour - it looks much better in your photos on the other thread As the others have said, the interior is lovely Congrats and well wear

    Delta Facsia

Did you buy from a european site? I think I read somewhere that the fascia is different for LHD cars - not sure of that particular part but someone else on here will surely know
  22. Indeed, a lovely looking example Hats off to you sir and welcome

  24. If its the original battery then it probably needs replacing The key fob on mine is a bit floppy to say the least - it stays in place when folded but its very loose Oh, welcome along by the way
