I still think that gearbox mount need changing By applyying hand brake I take pressure of the box and is going off nicely. But will let you know soon, I'm doing thermostat tomorrow

Hi Andy There was no websto blocking the acces to it. I had to hold bolt with a spanner/wrench and turn the nut from the other side. I strongly recommend to apply plenty of wd40 few hrs before you start other wise you may round the nut/bolt. With good quality tools anyone should be able to do it. But had to end up using Irwin nut. Once I took the bolts off and put cooler grease on it it went on nicely with new bushes. And no more annoying nocks!!! Good lucks

Yes it rocks if I will turn it off without hand brake . Not soure if it rocks foward or backward. I have put new anti roll bar bushes it help with the quality and comfort but not that. Is the gearbox mount hard to acces ?

hey, I have just done them today. started at 7.30pm - 11pm both sides. (In the rain!!!) Not hard at all but I recomend to apply plenty of WD40 day b4 job, Thouse nuts dont want to turn easy. With new bushes no more nocking noises.. Ther is a video on YT that shows how to do it, but once you will lift it and have a look you will know what to do. 2x15mm wrench , spaner, Cooper grease WD40 2x stands I have rounded one bolt but luckaly I had IRWIN nuts with me Smal 90degresse Impact wrench would be very helpfull.

GV CRD 2.8 2006 Hi foxes When I turn the engine off (without hand brake) if Shakes !! But if I apply handbrake b4 I will put on P it will go off nicely... Could it be gearbox mount ?

GV 2.8 CRD 2006 stow and go It looks like Delphi that came today is not original, in the installation module it tells to turn down the NET. Looks like a copy. Not sure if it will be any good but I will have a go.

Hi all, I have returned from Kwick Fit with fully recharged Aircon, From some reason when I turn the Aircon off , it won't switch off the pump and will be still working?? What the point of having that option ?

I will stock to the bignev advice and use AV / media player

Hi all I have a genuine DVD player for my 2006 GV, however the manual book is for the LHD modes, My question is do I still follow the manual regardless or just swap sides and put the wires via the rights pillars ? Many thanks

Hi all I own my 2.8 crd grand for almost a year, and it is brilliant!!! Apart from the incident in Belgian where gearbox died and it costed me £1600 to rebuild it!! But we love it ! Karmannsk
