  1. 1685 SKIM system invalid secret key in EEPROM 1685 SKIM system write access to EEPROM failure. EEPROM has something to do with antenna failure. What if any are your symptoms.
  2. Make sure the fluid level is correct. Possible causes are trans speed sensor, located on the left side of the trans, check the connections especially ground. The trams control module located beneath the front headlamp under the left side wheel arch, check connections, especially ground..
  3. Fuel rail pressure malfuction. leakage detected ...pressure too high..., pressure too low.... Fuel pressure solenoid open circuit.
  4. Hi guys did the diesel test again as quintq recommended, today, Sun. Trip computer said 34 MPG topped the tank up after a run, actual 19 MPG. I don't have an issue with the MPG I would like better obviously, but the trip computer is so far off it amazing.
  5. Quintq Very interesting comment, can I take it that nobody else has the same problem. I dont doubt for a moment that something may be at fault to cause such abysmal mileage. Why would the trip computer read 35 MPG when a road test with a full tank shows the correct mileage is only 22 MPG? Is this a rare fault and can anyone tell me how the computer can get it so wrong? As far as I can tell everything else on the computer appears to be correct.
  6. Hi QuinteQ Thats what we did to get the correct mileage. We averaged 22MPG. The tank was filled and the trip gauge zeroed, and the trip meter zeroed. Drove the car really carefully. I expected the reading to be incorrect, but the amout staggered me. I also live in Wales at halfway up a mountain so realistically we have to expect low MPG, but the gauge read 35 MPG. I think my complaint is the trip computer is so wrong, not the MPG I get.
  7. Steve Remember if it is USA gallons the reading is even worse. A US gallon is less than ours, so I would have to add a percentage to my reading. The 35 would be nearer 42, and in reality I still only get 22.
  8. Thanks bignev I havn't had it long and I aint had a chance to service it. I just downloaded the workshop manual, so I will get it done and see if it makes a difference. Just a shock to the system to think 35 miles a gallon and realise it's onlly 22. MPG.
  9. My trip computer 2006 Voyager 2.8 diesel tells me I am getting 35 MPG. In reality, I am only getting 22 MPG, and I drive carefully. Any ideas.
