Just to update this - I'm sure bairn will have changed his by now(!) however ironically my nearside passenger bulb just went so I've just done mine.
For the record they are H7 55W bulbs to replace. A bit of a bugger to change the nearside as the battery and washer bottle are somewhat in the way.
You can remove the water bottle 'spout' to assist as its simply pulls off the main bottle body.
A word of warning however to all future bulb-changers. Theres a small cavity inside the nearside front wing over the arch - right where you'd balance your tools and I managed to lose a screwdriver down the side just where you cannot get an arm down to retrieve! I attempted to remove the inside wheel arch to go up inside but the tool (small 5" screwdriver) has disappeared somewhere in to the inner body ether! Simple bulb change took me a couple of hours - multiple swear words and x2 skinned backs of hands and I still haven't found it!
I'm hoping its so well buried it won't move until my next MoT when my mate can get it on its ramps but be warned not to lose anything down that panel gap! Its a £$%^&*(*!!!

Just a quick note, but if the petrol Delta is similar to the other Fiat group cars (Bravo etc) there is no petrol line filter fitted
There are however 2 gauze filters fitted, 1 as a pre-filter in the fuel pump intake and the others (4 off) in the fuel injector inlets

    Hope this makes sense ???

    Hi,

Sounds like neither garage knew what they were doing to be honest! Compete twonks as it takes about two minutes to reset both counters!!

I use Nigel Snape for all my personal and stock cars. He's a Master mechanic, factory trained and ex dealer network so knows his way around anything Italian. He can reset both the oil degradation and mileage lights for you in minutes!

All of his details can be found here:

Nice one Jos - i know Nigel as well from the Fiat Coupe forum as I also have a Coupe LE and see his Coupe now and again! The Windows will Auto-close if left open on locking. All you need to do is hold the lock button in and any open windows will shut
The wheel was a bit of a bugger to release Mike - the air was blue!! - but worth it

Welcome Lindzy - glad you like the car. How many miles has it done? Front end knocks are usually bush/damper related.

Good idea Ryan - I'll give it a go - though we don't want the car getting too popular do we!

Good to see another new Delta this morning - White with black roof - heading southbound on the A46 going from Coventry and turned off at the Leamington/Kenilworth exit. I think it was a Limited as it had the twin tail-pipe but looked like it had SR 17" Alloys to me............

In that case I'll take the Delta Mike. As mentioned I was going anyway but usually in the Coupe/X1/9. Always a good day out - speak nearer the time..... Anyone with links to the Lancia Motor Club? Let them know? I'll can mention on their FB page - If Stuart with the LHD Delta attends we would have the entire known UK Delta Series 3 club there!

I did mention some time ago on one of the threads that that theres a slight variation in some sections of the dash between LHD and RHD. I think it was when we were going on about the gear-knob.
Viewed centrally the console/gearstick and the heater controls panel angle slightly left - seems it did not pay to convert everything.
Mind you that Dremel will come in handy cutting your holes for your illuminated sills!

OK finally changed my front grill! Buongiorno Lancia! Apologies as this is the Chrysler forum but the Delta is a full on Lancia so had to be done.
Will post photo asap - I did not do a photo How-to Ben I'm afraid but to change the grill:

    1. Loosen the x6 T30 Torx screws along the top of the Chrysler grill - 4 on the grill itself and two either side on the bumper.
    2. Under car and unscrew the x3 T30 bolts that secure the front bumper to the engine cover/undertray. You will also need to unscrew where it fits to the two splash guards each side of the undertray though I then discovered that one side of mine is missing! To be ordered...........
    3. Inside both front arches - x4 T30 screws fixing the wheel arch to the front bumper assembly then the top T30 which screws into a white welded bolt at the front bumper edge to wheel arch.
    4. The whole front bumper assembly should now be free - careful as its fairly weighty so make sure you have some covers out in case it slips forward - you don't want to scratch it. You will find that the area where the front bumper meets the wheel arches is push-fitted into and needs a guiding hand behind to dislodge.
    5. Disconnect the two connectors from each front fog light.
    6. Once done lift up slightly over the top of the font edge and the whole bumper assembly should be free.

You now need to remove the Chrysler grill. They are secured by series of metal clips that push fit on to the plastic pegs that protrude from the grill.
You WILL break the pegs when removing - slide a screwdriver behind and push out. You can then reform the clips to ensure they fit back over your new grill.

Re-fitting it the reverse of the above. The most awkward part of the whole job was getting the bumper back in position. There is a foam formed piece that sits in front of the Rad behind the bumper. This is only secured by tape so make sure its sitting back in its correct position. Use the access hole for the towing hitch to make sure its in the correct way - only one hole on the one side so you know its in the right way around.
I found it useful to sit under the front centre and lift the bumper back in - up and over then secure under the car. Screw back in the x6 Torx on the Grill top first to hold it in position then fix back up the rest. Make sure the bumper ends at the arches slot it correctly as its quite a tight fit but you will find once its in the right position the rest should line up ok.

    Behold - Forza Lancia!
