  1. I did have a look Mike but its a nightmare job. I managed to get a long screwdriver up within the footwell to the flaps that direct air to the screen. But the problem is the actuator flap cogs being plastic occasionally grab the motor arms and move them so it does not stay put where you want the air to go for long. Occasionally I get heat both sides but it soon goes back to being cold on the passenger side. This time of year is worse too and not just because of the temperature as with the damp and cold you get very misted up especially if there is more than one of you in the car. I'm going to live with it for now. I have recently changed jobs roles so working from home mostly now so I only use the Delta now for the daily school run for my youngest lad which is only a 4 mile round trip. The wifes 500X is the mode of transport any other time. Thats why I mentioned I don;t really need a car of the Delta's size anymore and not with 4 doors.............. Will see how it goes this year.... The Brera S is still top of the wanted list although I know if I see a Momo S going local I'll be wanting to view it!
  2. ............Ooh and I hate the fact that to fix my broken Heater actuator flaps I will have to remove what appears to be most of the cars interior! ................... Needless to say I have bought a new scarf and gloves for winter.......
  3. My wife has still not forgiven me for the day when she was still my girlfriend - we were going out to a posh doo/Saturday night function so were nicely dressed and I picked her up in my Beta HPE. It was a great car however the fuel gauge was not the most effective - whenever you turned right it was full - turn left it appeared empty so you had to guess how much has you always had. We got on to the Coventry Inner ring road................you can guess the rest...................................
  4. ...and that Parcel Shelf edge is damn sharp! Anyone else skinned their knuckles on it getting stuff in/out.
  5. Yep as far as I am aware the only difference between the Hard Black edition and a Ltd is the paint. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OA-4J7XslM
  6. Base spec and over 100k but still alot of car for the money.
  7. Good Spot but I'm not really a fan of complete Matte Paint - rare or otherwise................. Its known as the "Hard Black" Edition.
  8. Deltamike - I honestly think the Delta's lights are really good - and that's with Halogen Dipped beam.............. you should try driving a Fiat Coupe at night!
  9. Welcome Nigel - car detail and images are a must
  10. Even more belated - Happy 2020 Deltisti!

    Springs

Eibach are normally the best performance spring. Can anyone with a Multiair confirm the Bravo spring part number if used?
  12. Yes as per the other thread I had Goodyears although like Mike says they were a bit noisy. Well pleased with my new Pirelli's though I am on 17" wheels.........

    Springs

Anyone ever heard of Simoni Springs? Seems you can buy a full set of lowered springs for the Delta as cheap as a pair of OE normal ones.........

    Delta Tyres

Early impressions - the Pirelli's definitely have more compliance and I think reduction in road noise - although my Goodyear's were shot!

    Delta Tyres

Tyres need replacing again in my car - Pirelli's always seem to get mixed reviews but I have always liked them. As per this thread I had kept to Goodyears on my Delta up to now but Kwik-Fit Mobile (I'll only use their Mobile service!) have P7's with 10% off if you order more than 1 so work out at £72 a corner fitted on my drive! Being done Wednesday...................
  16. Yep as started on FB well done Mike. And nicely colour co-ordinated!
  17. Yes has been discussed before on here - they are a pain but what makes it so annoying is the design of the clip - they are ridiculously over-sprung and dafly not-retained well on the housing. Good luck! The only positive I will say on this thread is how well the Delta lights perform. Really good illumination from OE and even just with Halogen bulbs.
  18. Deltaboy did you get anywhere with this?
  19. We can talk alot about the Delta here
  20. Just asked to join - the more info/piccys the better IMO. Alot of people still do now know about us here sadly due to the Chrysler link.............(no offence anyone and thanks to Ben and the guys that run this site.)
  21. Good find re: that wheel store. And yes I had forgotten about the Hard Black edition although I think I am right in saying that was not available to the UK
  22. Yes those Alloys were the Factory option on the Limited cars in the UK but you could get that as an optional extra on the SR at cost. As far as I know they were only available new in Silver so someone must have had them painted.
