harris266 Posted December 29, 2018 Report Share Posted December 29, 2018 Hi all. I have a voyager 2.8crd and it has developed a clunking noise coming from the steering rack. When driving it sounds like drop link failure but this has been ruled out. On visual inspection there seems to be a vast amount of movement at the rack and pinion joint. I sourced a replacement second hand rack. Installed it and it's symptoms are the same. Am I just very unlucky to have got a second faulty rack and is this a common fault.
