Question

Hi. Probably been covered already but now the cold weather is here my heater just isn't getting as hot as it should. The temp guage doesn't get more than a quarter of the way up and the aux. Heater remains on for most of the time. I suspect it's the thermostat stuck open but is there any way I can check this before taking out a loan or re-mortgage to replace it. Any ideas.

I was lucky with my car as i bought it 5 month's ago from s dealer. Iv had a few problems with car, but work was done under the sale of goods act. Thats wjy i had them do it. I had the quote justbincase i had to.pay and claim it back. But didn't need to go that way. I thinknits about a 3 1/2 hr job. That's why if you follow the link on here theres an easier and cheaper way of doing it.
