I had similar problem with p0700 in limp mode in my 2.8 crd. on recommendation of one of my friends who owns a voyager IV, I have inter changed some of the relays in the front of hood above the radiator. the engine light disappeared and tcm problem solved. I thought they were for the AC fan but they are also related with TCM. strange.
