Decided to get the car serviced at a Jeep dealership in Bedford which will also sort the lights out. Will keep the car another 6 months possibly as originally was thinking of selling the car.

Yeh I bought the software ages ago, but after updating to Windows 10, from 8, on my laptop it stopped working for me. Unless I try another OBD scanner. As it could be that since there seems to be no connection. Any recommendations?

Lol! I am unfortunately in 2 minds about selling the car. Will be expensive and the value of the car is making me think if it is worth it or not.

Unfortunately it did not move with and without moving the seat with the 2nd lever. Any other ideas? I can hear that it's trying to pull the mechanism when I push down on the lever, slight noise to the middle of the seats where I reckon the lock is.

Hi guys, unfortunately the back seat is stuck in the down position, the 2 seater. I can feel a difference when pushing the lever down on the 2 seater vs the 1 seater. Any idea what I can check to see if I can release it? Seems like it's all internal the mechanism. There is a cable that runs from one end to the other but that's about it.

Been a while since I came to this forum but just to let you know back in October when the weather got cooler the light started working again, lol! Anyway probably go again as soon as we hit 20c+ but for now I got an extra 5 months out of it so far. Shame we can't just solder the problem ourselves.

What mileage is the water pump etc due guys? I know of the aux belt at 66k? On a 1.6 Diesel. Mines due soon and just paid £700 for the car insurance on 2 cars and breakdown cover, ouch!

Thanks for the help Nello. Will email some of those sellers. But will do the hairdryer trick first. Tempted to see if some waterproof tape would help wedge the light to stop moisture... Maybe not lol.

Hi Hello, thanks for the reply. Do you know what the part number is or a description to search for? I may try the dryer trick to see if I can temporarily fix it until I get a replacement. Could you see from any of the seals that water got in at all or try to improve the seal before putting it back in?

i guys, not been on this forum for a while. Busy with a baby who is already a year old now! Time is flying. Anyway just this weekend I got an error message on the dashboard to check my rear signal lights and after paying attention to them I noticed that about 3 of the middle lights, on the rear are flickering on and off when trying to signal. Are they actually bulbs in there or is this going to be an expensive fix? Wanted to see if they were loose. For some reason I recall reading about this that happened to someone else but can't find the thread. Thanks for the help!

Hi guys, I literally just noticed that rain water is entering and remaining in the boot lid. Just after it rained I opened the boot and could hear water inside and some dripped out the sides of the plastic fitting. Anyone got the same problem? Am guessing this could be the reason why my rear wiper goes hay wire now and again. Anything I can do? Thanks

Hi guys. Having a problem with the same cable and multiecuscan. Basically I keep getting an access denied to the com port message when I go to test the connection in multiecuscan, any ideas? I did have to reinstall the USB drivers again for some reason, the ones that came on the disc did not work so I randomly tried others on the internet. It could be that or the cable had become faulty, not sure. Edit: Forgot to mention that the message appears connected to the cars port and without so I don't think it's anything to do with the car or connection.

Mines on 50k, garage have noticed the front discs have slight wear and tear issues but nothing major. May change them next year.

Damn! I paid £10 for my 5 litre G13 with 5yr life and a free oil filter for the Delta.

I bought some G13 from eurocarparts last year so have a 5 litre bottle in the garage. I was thinking of getting it swapped out at the next service, I may just do it early instead of next year as not due for a while. Any idea if swapping to the G13 is a good idea or not? For the time being I have put some deionised water in there to help stop the cooling fan coming on.

Hi guys, my coolant on the Delta is pretty low and I want to top it up with more coolant rather than water. It looks like a pink colour, any idea what was put in from the factory? G12++? The one I have bought last year is the purple G13. Thanks.
