  1. Haha all true!

    You forgot a few...

Cup holders that don't fit cups.

Glove boxes only fit for...well gloves!

Having to have the hands of a 4 year old  with dislocated wrists to change a headlight bulb, and the neck of an Ostrich to actually see what you're doing!

Designing cars and advertising them as 4 seaters when actually only 3 are any good unless you don't have ANY legs. (To be fair Delta excluded on this point)

  2. Yeah as Neil says good spot!

That's a nicely spec'd car desperately needing the Lancia treatment! I wasn't that keen on the Brera Independent matt finish, so not sure about this either...

It will be interesting to see if they get any bites at 5k! Don't get me wrong it's A LOT of car for the money, but a niche market never the less. Plus encroaching on Giulietta money albeit not as well spec'd.

  3. We've got an Ulter sport full system on our Alfa which is now around 3 years old. It's just started to delaminate at the tips where they meet the back box. Shame as other than that they look and sound great. Just didn't expect the rot so quickly....

  4.

Update: Thank you all for your contributions. In the end I went for the GoodYear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 to replace the Bridgestone Potenzas at the front, and I have to say the Goodyears have transformed the car, not only much better grip but also spectacular change in the steering precision, very increased comfort level and softness on road irregularities, but also very quiet. The car feels much more solid and I am really very satisfied with these tyres and I can recommend them without any hesitation to fellow Delta owners, at least for the 18" wheel size. Looking forward to replace also the ones at the rear after the winter.

I ran those on my Delta and found them great, although I found the wear rate a little too quick for my liking! Plus they do get noisy when the tread gets low. But when new probably one of the best tyres for the Delta....

  5. Anyone ever heard of Simoni Springs? Seems you can buy a full set of lowered springs for the Delta as cheap as a pair of OE normal ones.........

Italian company from Northern Italy... Been around for quite a while and do pretty much every aftermarket product going! I've not bought anything from them, so can't comment on quality. Although a quick chat with the guys at Demon Tweeks should tell you what you need to know as they stock some of their products.

  6. Welcome Deltafan, and congrats on a great spec car too!

Just check yourself for any play in the steering. Whilst stationery and with the engine idling and wheels straight, see how far each way you can turn the wheel before the wheels move. I'm also pretty sure you'd have noticed by now to be fair...

If you're worried get a mechanic to give it a quick check over. Where abouts are you? We might be able to suggest a good specialist!

  7. Not getting the signature bit Spud as you don't seem to have one?

Regarding the Nav, try removing the micro SD card and reinserting it. If that doesn't cure it try powering down the head unit and then back on again. The system could have froze... If neither cure it try the factory reset procedure. If it's not software related then you might need to check the GPS aerial is connected in the back of the head unit or there is no damage to the GPS cable.

  8. Hi James, wow this is an old thread resurrection lol.

I'm not familiar with that exact Kenwood model, but functionally they're all pretty similar. Get one with DAB radio if your budget allows, built in Nav is better than using your phone via Android Auto/Apple carplay as you won't kill your data allowance... Glare onscreen in the Delta isn't really a problem as it's mounted high up in the dash, and most of them have night mode, and colour coding with the dash illumination.

Kenwood and Pioneer are mostly great if following the above logic, but there have been a few Sony and JVC units in recent times that have been good too. Hope that helps ?

  9. My local garage are great but they hit a "computer says no" wall with their usual parts factor as they will only work on the registration number and couldn't see anything listed for Chrysler Delta. Refused to order off a make and model.

I had that exact issue. Just go onto Autotrader and find a Bravo, then use that registration number!

If they still say no, just find a different parts factor.
