I have just acquired replacements for both sides on my car as they both cracked. Been looking for a while but despaired when I was being quoted £20 each side by breakers, plus postage, which I refused to pay out of principle. I eventually found some at £5 plus £2 postage, so I bought 4 of them. I only really need one as a spare so I could supply one at my cost if interested. Let me know.

Hi all, new to the forum but not to my beloved Grand Voyager. It's a 2005 2.8 crd LX. I've owned it for around 5 years and it has given me some problems, but I love it. Major problems have been auto gearbox issues. I've had two rebuilt gearboxes fitted by Mechanical Workshop in Leicestershire. Total cost over 4k! On both occasions I had used the car for towing. 1300kg caravan. They reckon the auto box on the 2.8crd is not up to the job. Be interested to hear comments. Won't be doing it again. Does anyone else tow with an automatic? Anyway this intro is turning into a tech discussion. Hope to use the forum regularly.
