battery new voltage fine garage changed complete lock stating its fooked ,car returned ,unlocked fine parked it up 3 days later same problem not fixed so going back duhhh not a happy camper

hi all this may have been covered before I have a 2009 mrk 5 grand voyager I did have an issue about the driver door some times would not unlock the button goes up and down and the other doors open fine they have had it back a few times and for over a year all fine no problems today it has done it again and I have disconnected battery and left for 15 mins and reconnected and still cant get the driver door open have thumped the door card with window open thinking loos wire but still nothing after pressing lock and unlock a few times both on the fob and the door switches I now get nothing but the hazards flashing leave for a while then lock and onlock ok but driver door not able to open any one got a good suggestion please Frank

tonight mine again not opening but did notice the side doors not opining on the handle or the button inside as they used to then the problem ingressed to the damn front door not opning but I can get in the passenger front door using the key not a happy camper at the mo

well i found some roof bars on ebay that are supose to fitt i e-mailed them explaing mrk5 model got a reply those will fitt , so i ordered a pair and they don't fitt contacted them and they asked why they don't fitt , explained and sent pivtures anth all mesurements , still waiting for that reply called a few breakes no , no . no , from most got one who did call me back said there are only 2 types so asked what is the space between the to mounts ? could not tell me but £100 for the par with no returns hmmmmm promt reply bugger that and hang up called chrysler chelmsford and they was calling me back but didn't now how hard can it be to get a pair ??? still looking lol

well this is the latest news ref the above car been in work shop for 1 day mechanic tested and found no faults and nothing on diagnostic's so looks like I best have a 10mm spanner in the car in case this happens again , they suggested a glitch , but I don't buy that as this has been a recall and been alleged done 3 years ago but they did fix the rattle I had it turned out to be the spare wheel cover

had the very same on mine and passenger side also only had the car for 6 weeks checked with chrysler and mine had been done 3 years ago so didnt whant to know garage i got it from suggested disconect battery for 20 mins and it should reset i did this and hey presto all ok but still taking it back to get it resolved as dont wish to drive around with a 10mm spanner in the car

Halfords only do the square aliminium ones but will try thule cheers budd

well i think i blew my horn a bit quickly parcel arrived but turned at to be 6 post instead of 6 rubber crommets ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,duhhhhhhh called supplier and was then informed no grommets available the engine cover has been modified and i would need to order a new one but the new post's that i all ready have would be needed ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i asked so how much is a new engine cover then ????????????? £ 156 plus vat so i replied they could stick it and keep it as i'm shure i can make or get somthing else that will do the job so in the mean time ill drive around with a rettling loose engine cover

hi all i am after just a single roof bar for my grand voyager crd 2009 new shape if any one has one laying around and not needed it's for may ameture radio antennas so just a single one will do will cover cost for postage and what you whant for it cheers Frank

didn't have the very same but had ours cut out at different intervals would restart after a couple of mins my garage thought it was the cam sensor so that was done 1st but ended up as the crank sensor and that cured the problem I did look on the net and a few others had similar problem hope this is helpful

it's ok found some in chelmsford essex very helpfull and sending them to me £5.20 inc postage result

just got my second grand voyager and tarting all the bits missing and broken ect where can I get the 5 rubber mounts that fit to the black plastic engine cover ? as all of mine are missing so it just sits the shaking lol

i all had a grand voyager for 9 years diesel crd manual 2.4 onix green loved it 6 months ago we decided to change got a dodge nitro 4x4 great car but lack of space inside so today getting another 5th gen 2.8 all beels and wistles and hope many years of motoring its a 2009 86000 great forum been looking very helpfull will be looking for a towbar if any one can help what one in the uk chhers Frank
