  1. Sometimes, I haven't noticed a trend yet, the hazards flash 2 or 3 times when I start the car. Anybody else experience this and know if it's an issue? Or just typical American wiring?
  2. Mine isn't quite 150k, it's 108k. Having said that, it's a 2.5l CRD and it's showing no bad signs yet. I'm getting the cam belt and water pump done this week in the hope of preserving it's life span. I've seen people with a 2.5 crd having over 200k miles on this forum. It's all down to how the previous owner drove and serviced it. Whatever car you buy, try and get one with at least the last 5 years service history. Also if it's at the 150k mark, make sure it's had the cam belt done and that there is proof. A cam belt going is not nice!
  3. Also on the American Town and COUNTRY versions they actually have the infinity logo on the speaker grills! That would be really bloody helpful on the UK models!
  4. Hi again Andy , I'm taking the aftermarket unit from my ford. BUT, after buying this voyager a couple of weeks backnow, I had to get the factory radio unlocked only to find out that there was no sound and an error whenever I inserted any sort of CD. So I'm assuming the factory unit is shot, I'm just preying it's not an amp issue instead! I'm going to try and fit it next weekend and I'll keep a photo/video log to keep you all updated and hopefully should it be successful it might help some others out there seeing as I've found tens of similar questions across this forum and other chrysler forums. Thanks again Andy for your reply. You helped hugely with my other issue, it was a jammed open thermostat in the end. I fitted a new in-line thermostat and it's working beautifully now
  5. Hi, maybe a silly question but... How can you tell if a Voyager has the infinity amplified audio kit? Mine is A Voyager 2001 2.5 CRD if that is any help..?
  6. Are the buttons on the steering wheel (cruise control buttons) supposed to light up? If so, how do I replace mine because they don't light up at all on my voyager
  7. I think L Plates is on to something. I had a Rover 75 automatic, I was told the transmission was fudged but after taking it to another garage, they said it was just the oil. Charged me £80 and it was as good as new I sincerely hope that, that is the case for you!
  8. Literally found the video on a different post a second before checking this! Thank you for your advice
  9. Hi all, Recently bought a 4th gen Voyager and the coolant temperature sensor never reads above a quarter of the way up even on long journeys. Any suggestions?
  10. That's a shame because they're a brilliant garage! I'm in Birmingham now so the only one I know is A1 Clutches up here which may be a little to far to travel in limp mode! However, if you could make it that far, they are the best garage I have ever used!
  11. Used to have a PT Cruiser but then the Mrs kept getting pregnant so now I have a 4th gen Voyager! So far I'm chuffed with it! Only had to change the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor *toucheS wood*
