  2. Cambelt job with wheels and Water Pump...Keep your engine safe...That's it.....4 Hour job to a garage, around £500 though.
  3. Well there's plenty on Fleebay, even garages selling them for under £2k, 06 to 07 models, but down south. Guy I know here near Ae Village (turn off at Parkgate) buys and sells Peugeot 307's HDI'S including 307sw's. Does all the jobs needing done that you can think off. Nice cars but not big enough for us. I'm using a Panda multijet at mo as my Voyager needs work for MOT. It's on 58mpg, little cramped but goes like stink... Good Idea about the caravan as I worked away for 10 years as far as Ashford Kent, Morecambe, Manchester, etc., staying in a Motorhome then a caravan and coming home at weekends.

  5. Ah finally found the picture of when my front strut was removed. Its the bottom hole on strut that's elongated for adjustment to camber.
  6. That's an oxygen sensor system fault code. Check past results on that issue. May be a protection shutdown as to preserving the cat.
  7. Try a new sensor, what the heck, just change two front ones, only about £25 each...

  9. It's maybe passed away like mine, been electrically unplugged and coolant hoses isolated. See pictures. One is total unit on its death bed and other its little heat transfer heart that cracked and pissed out coolant.

  11. Well no4 sounds like engine mounts as on shutting down there is possibly no rubber on one mount, like front one that gets hammered. No1/2 could be hot start plugs or power to them. Belts, well, two prices, Chrysler dealer will want £125+/hr for labour. Independents down to £75/hr. Its a four hour jobby. Five years ago Chrysler wanted £650. But got mine for £450 independent. If there's screw holes on dash anywhere its been an Airport Posh Taxi and probably been round the moon. But mine was one, 225k miles plus and after 5 years been the best car on 50 odd plus I've had. Get the Auto box serviced oil & inside filter. Oh and how's the Handbrake, does it hold at all. Good Luck...
  12. Check the Alternator itself, as mine had the problem and I have heard a few others. Alternator seems to work ok but when bearings become dry it makes this odd high pitched noise when idling..
  13. As too Camshaft sensor it will code up if your camchain becomes loose and eventually jumps teeth. Would have thought it would show up as engine getting noisier but they say its a noisey engine to start with.
  14. Is there any holes thou...Yes scrub all rust off and get the killer on. Red lead, paint and underbody goo...Ideal if you can get inside and spray a mix of oil/grease to stop progress of rust...
  15. Try running car with MAP censor disconnected and see if there is any difference.
  16. Here, Here, have you seen the backplates/dustcovers/rotor protection plates on fleebay at the moment. Around £197 for both of them. There complete mind you with the cast horns riveted on...Thanks if your offering.
  17. Not quite as simple as that. Replace what's needing replaced and tune both sides at the adjusters till shoes just clear the drum. Wheels on and check handbrake. This should be it done, handbrake should hold car on a hill. Well in a normal car it would sorry to say. But thing is the handbrake cables are not just different lengths but offside one goes from nearside to offside via arc tubes then down to drum. So your guess here, my guess is too have offside shoes apply first thus taking up longer cable then nearside comes on..Another idea I found was to find out which brake was not holding and adjust that one up at the adjuster then retest...Good headscratcher this system. Yes there is an access hole but adjuster is probably seized unless you've been there.
  18. Bigger rolling radius and circumference as well. Check internet for how much your speedo is out..
  19. Is the top hole not slotted like mine on the strut flanges. Must find that picture.
  20. Just a bit interest here regarding inlet manifold joint. Was reading about a car with low power and it was put down to low boost pressure. Yes guess what manifold gasket was leaking. Power returned after renewal. There was another about a faulty MAF but another story.
  21. Must add here as I've a spare exhaust hanging from my rafters in the loft, got it from Fleebay quite a few years ago as I had a few holes in one of the boxes. But as I said looked for an easy way out and bandage did the job. Maybe not next time though..
  22. The drumsticks on mine needed a 36mm spanner. They were certainly tight. Got a spare here will try postup.
