  1. ok new thing happened yesterday, i'd been out using the car for a while everything was fine, then i got stuck in a traffic jam the car after about 5 minutes started issuing black smoke from the exhaust seemed to be a judder on the engine intermittently and lost power engine seemed to even off after another 5 minutes but the power from the engine was reduced i was having to go upto 2.5k rpm in 1st gear to get it moving once moving and upto speed it seemed fine, managed to get it home without further issues. been out in it today and all the power is back any ideas
  2. had it checked by 2 different people no fault codes showing at the minute not noticed a drop in mpg but it only started a few days ago
  3. i have a 2.5td le that does the same works ok for a few weeks then appears as theres not enough power to turn the engine over jump started it a few times and again fine for a few weeks, i have had it to auto electricians for diagnostics but no fault codes came back, i have recently resorted to disconecting the battery every night and reconnecting it the next day and seems to be fine
  4. ok the first issue started a couple of days ago the first issue when accelerating the car just seems sluggish from a standing start when accelerating past 2000rpm a cloud of black smoke can be seen from the exhaust second issue when i turn my ignition on i get a sequence of dings similar to what you would get from a computer that has a fault this has been going off for a few months any help appreciated car is Chrysler Voyager 2.5td le (2000 xreg)
  5. i have a similar problem sometimes mine just clicks other times it will go down and then get stuck if i bang the center of the door around where motor is situated the window will go back up
