  1. It occurs to me that some of us are overlooking a valuable source of information and spare parts by not looking in the right places. Go on to EBay. Set your search settings for worldwide then change your vehicle details for town and country or dodge caravan. You might be surprised. Look for A604 or 41 te ( transmission) parts and they are all there in abundance. I recently had a pair of new custom tail lights sent over from California for the same money that I sold my one unbroken unit in the Uk.

  2. Watcha bignev me lad ! Yeh Andy I looked [#2] the very next morning, it took all of 5 minutes to decide main stealer only if your lucky. Available all over USA for $50 OEM & Mopar - £100GB£ in this country and we know the probs even with a VIN. I said that "Flex was always a better bet than tone" hence the reason I asked you in your other thread when you were looking at engine whether you used 'drop gear' or kickdown both of which put an enormous extra flex on the flex-plate. Like others I hope it proves to be flex particularly now that you indicate "two of the nuts look chewed" maybe 100 snots and greasy hands will put you back on the road even though dropping the bell and an extra £60 for new oil is a pain.

  3. I had a one year old battery and excluding that from the picture, I replaced sensors and injectors ( from another car for testing), eventually I bought a new battery and it started first time. I believe is the battery. Please update the thread once it is solved.

  4. Well you were in the right faze of mind there. These 2 sensors will let engine start, not let it start or shut engine down. But for the 2 sensors to work how they should, they should have the correct voltage going into them so they can output the required voltage to the ECU for engine to be allowed to start. The crank one may not be powered though. So what I am coming to, is, Battery output. Is your battery good, quite new, how old. As its not just these cars that need a good battery to satisfy the starting parameters... Somehow it doesn't sound fuel pressure related, but just might be.
