Blind spot detection deactivated

Hi All

I am currently in the process of purchasing a 2013 Grand Voyager. The blind spot detection is not working in the vehicle, but the price and condition is the best i have seen after months of searching. Has anyone repaired or solved a similar issue to this. Any advise would be appreciated.

Are you sure the unit is still in location attached to the LH rear panel (to the rear of the back wheel) They seem to fall off easily
