300C Crd Abs New Module Programming

Question

Hi gents,

I like my 300c quite a lot, to the extend I bought another one with very low mileage for its age - 78k being 57 plate.

Anyway long story short abs module has failed and it was replaced with new genuine unit from chrysler. Previous owner failed to initialize it. I tried with launch and failed as well. I tryed entering vin as well, but failed. There is no vin stored at the moment, so it is virgin. One thing strike me as odd - in errors it shows c107c and c107d, which is brake pedal switch 1/2 stuck. Can't see live data that would be different to my old 300c that I run everyday.

Any thoughts?

It may need flashing, as ABS pumps, in my limited experience of owning one of these cars, need to paired to the PCM using software that no local garages seem to have & only a limited amount of main dealers still have.

This might help....http://www.chryslerforum.co.uk/topic/5533-u140e/

Hi again. Sorry for not replying. Not in particular rush with it, had other things that needed my attention first.( custom sprinter with straight 6 diesel engine :D)

Anyway in the meantime tried several different diagnostics - Launch pro, Autel ds908 pro... Both suppose to be able to initialise the module. Both have option to do so and are trying to do it... Unsuccessfully. Autel gave a bit different error saying conditions are not correct. I did check stearing angle sensor read out and incline.. Both under 5 degrees, brake is not applied. Tried finding chrysler dealer or specialist.. . Lost that battle as well. It seems that when chrysler was bought by Fiat very few dealers remained same/kept equipment. Spoke with 3 places and they have everything for chrysler after 2010, but none have Starscan that is used before 2010.

Anyone knows a place as close to Worcestershire as possible?

Regards

Got access to Witech micropod2 ( which is allegedly newer version of starscan).... Absolutely same as with launch or autel.

During initialisation pops out straight awayy with error :

negative response: 0x22

Unable to start ESP sensor initialisation, error occurred reading from null null

Swapped switches with my everyday run around 300c, same s**t. Then I checked wiring from brake pedal switch - all fine - It seems to have 2 channels - 1 for stop lights and can signal to release shifter from Parking, 1 for Yaw rate sensor and one for abs module. That last one makes or brakes +12v - all present and accounted for. So is cable seems intact to the abs module and not shorting to ground or +12v.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated. I am running out of ideas. It will be shame to take it for parts as its in better condition than my everyday runner.
