Auxiliary Heating Smoking

Hi all, i own a chrysler grand voyager 2.5 crd on a 2004. It's recently started smoking from underneath. Use to only last 10 seconds or so. Got told to unplug it but I will have no heating. This did stop the smoking but it's too cold and want to get this fixed. Looked underneath and saw the flexi pipe was broke. So replaced it, plugged it back in and now it's pouring out with smoke continuously. Is there a block somewhere or is the unit knackered/needs servicing? Also to give you heads up I thought I had a head gasket gone so poured in a couple of bottles of steal seal!!

Thanks in advance

Darren
