Lots of simple bits to do.

you state a fault, the abs light does not light up

Is this on ignition start up? does the ABS light uo and then go out? If so correct....

Alt ....

Check loom installation - voltmeter ....

ABS sensor - swop left to right? work?

Wires from ABS sensor take a lot of stick - close inspection .....

ABS rim on back of disc could be damaged.

A diagnostic plug in at a dealer with his magic box should through up menu items. Well worth the few quid it costs....

Hope you get it sorted.

Remember as it is a warning light it will generate an MOT failure these days

:-(

Always feel a car is happier with its own parts - worth seeing a back street man rather than that of a main service agent...
