  1. I have become another member of the every increasing Pot Hole Road Club. What makes it worse is ... FIAT have at least a 12 month back order on 'Chrysler" / "Lancia" spares. I did try the French to talk a French Lancia dealer, but nil points as far as my French language (just enough to buy dinner / order a beer or two / etc) Similarly to a Belgium dealer - 12 months wait .. :-( BUT read on, my intentions are positive.... 1) If you are a 198A2 diesel engine driven car, you can locate springs in your friendly FIAT Brava spares department - merely quote your engine number and they can assist! They work out at £49 a side & the obligatory VAT. You may have to look up / cross reference petrol versions 2) In going down this long and tortuous route, I did an SOS car call to various UK spring makers. One did come to my aid, and offered to make these for me. I stated that I would give the firm a mention on here - so contact details are: http://designplushosting.co.uk/email/springcoil-logo.jpg 2 Woodbourn Hill Sheffield S9 3NE T : +44 (0) 114-273-1111 T : 0800-112-3188(Freephone) F : +44 (0) 114-273-0222 W : www.springcoil.co.uk I spoke to Ryan and Carl (Managing director). I am sure that they can help you out in the near future if required. My instructions were to send to them an undamaged spring - to which they would make me the nearest possible replacements. (Or all the bits). A British firm that needs to be remembered, probably when, in times to come spare parts are / maybe at premium prices. Ryan - thank you and hope all is well Carl - mention in dispatches - hope the contact via here is worthwhile Kind regards to the company Hope they are useful to someone - I don't know if I break Member rules - but they were of a pit prop to me over the last few days. My Man who can, stated the Bravo springs slotted in as if they were a family member. He also loved the build quality and drivability of the car - having done the road test after its heart (water pump / cam belt etc) was replaced in the big service. Penguin
