  1. Evening - new to the forum, not new to Chrysler as I have a SRT8 300c but new to the Grand Voyager - just swapped after the Mrs XC90 finally died after years of beatings from her and 4 boys. So got the diesel version about 6 weeks ago and had the battery tested (by a mate so not trying to sell me another) and as I suspected its on the verge of needing replacing. Rung SC Factors and none in stock, so rung the main stealers and they have none in stock as they arent made anymore (thanks Chrysler) but they suggested I buy a new battery plate (£90) so then a normal shaped battery can be fitted. Didnt take up that offer as seemed an extreme route but having come home and googled I can only find the original (& odd) shaped battery in euro car parts for £494.99 - which doesnt please me at all. Is changing the plate the route everyone else has taken or am I missing a shop somewhere that has sensible prices? Much appreciated
