  1. Hi there thanks for all your help. Finally sold my Grand Voyager. I will not be buying another. Sold it in perfect working order. So i will not be appearing on this forum gain. Just one mention, if you still own one, take out AA BRC OR AA WARRANTY

This covers all electrical and mechanical faolure. I had over £2500 claims from Injector trouble, EGR COOLER, GLOW PLUG RELAY, BATTERY FROM MAIN DEALER, CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL and CLUTCH,NEW WATERPUMP AND TIMING BELT. THEY EVEN COVER FAILURE OF LOWER ARMS. So goodbye.

  2. Dear all Diesel owners,

At some point your injectors will need replacing soon. Symptoms are:

Taking a long time to crank and then not starting

Misfire after starting for a short while

    Randomly stalling orvengine cutting out.

The other parts of the fuel system such as lines, pumps, and anything else are pretty solid and should last the lifetime.

If you want to buy one, pay the premium of finding one which have all these parts replaced as the car will have at least another 60k trouble free. They are the best 7 seaters. Nothing comes close to ride and seat comfort for drivers and passengers.

Once you have injectors checked and replaced, then use a diesel cleaner or premium diesel.

I have had the trouble of having new injectors done and the results are startling. Magnificent mpg 33 and 40 mpg average.......

  3. You have a break in the wires. I lived with it for years. The ecu sends a signal for the cooling fans. By all means check the relays. But the chrysler specialists in enfield fixed it within minutes of diagnosing it. They have the proper scanners. Others just cannot scan these vehicles. Check with ACD as well if you wish. Cheers. I have had so much work done on my chrysler, and come to the conclusion that only someone with the proper doagnostic machines for chrysler will be able to tell you exactly what is wrong with these cars. Something which waas backed up by the aa patrol.
  4. Thing is i waited for mine to eventually breakdown. It did on a really long drive just 66 miles short of inverness. It just wouldnt restart. The garage diagnosed an injector. Brc paid. Then a few months later another two injectors failed. Aa brc paid for them again. I think you have to just wait untill the car starts misfiring and will shut down every few yards. Thats the time to call aa. They will cover it but like you said only when you keep stalling. You wont be able to claim for the first 15 days. But make sure you have service records as they can object to paying if not serviced at least every 6 months. Its excellent cover for £19.00 pet month

They have shelled out over £2000 on my car in 2 years. Its fantastic cover anf these cars need it.
