  1. Ok thanks. That seems to agree with what I have since discovered and that In order to get the replacement ecu to work the VIN numbers need to match. Does anyone have any idea how I can get the Replacement ecu reprogrammed so its VIN matches the car? Thanks
  2. Been having problems with the engine stalling constantly and was told the pcm needed remapping. Decided, out of curiosity, to get serial numbers from the pcm and when finally got to it I was shocked to also find a sticker on it which stated there was a fault with the pcm and that it was caused whilst on the vehicle. This prompted me to find an exact replacement from fleabay which I did, all numbers matched. I then replaced the faulty pcm connected it and started the engine. It started but then seemed to lose power and die. This happened three or four times until the engine would no longer turn over. Does anyone know the correct process for replacing the pcm/ecu? Or if I have done something wrong. There are no error codes btw with either the old or new unit. Voyager 2.5 CRD 2001.
  3. We have been having this problem for a month or so and is slowly getting worse. Basically, the engine stutters and then usually cuts out when idling at lights/junction or when at low revs. This is intermittent at the moment but has got worse in that it is happening quite often and driving in town is becoming stressful. However, when driving normally in anything other than 1st gear or when not slowing down to a stop the car drives great. Anyone with any ideas as to why and perhaps how to fix. Thanks Steve

    Hi All

Thanks Ben for your reply and the pdf. Sadly it didn't help. According to that manual the cruise control buttons are located on the steering wheel but my wheel has no buttons whatsoever. I notice the pdf relates to voyagers from 2004 and although I have found some information that has helped enormously (thanks for that) unfortunately I am still a little clueless. Cheers.

    Hi All

Hope someone can answer my question I have a 2001 Voyager 2.5 CRD which have only hade for a couple of months. It came without an owners manual and so there are still many new things to learn. One issue concerns cruise control. As I turn on the ignition a "cruise" light appears just below the mileage counter for a couple of seconds (see photo). If my voyager comes with crusie control how do I turn it off and on as required as there are no buttons or switches on the steering wheel or anywhere else for that matter that indicate or even hint at controlling this function? I hope someone will be able to answer this for me. As I do not have an owners manual I reckon this may well be the first question of many, soif the future brings some seemingly dumbass questions I apologise in advance. Thanks for your time guys.
