  1. Any idea where would be the information regarding tyre pressure. It should be on the panel of front door but my panels beard no information. I have the 17 inch tyres.... Any recommendations...?
  2. They are coming out of my 1.4 Multiair petrol SR reg 11.So should fit OK. You can email me on <[email protected]>, so that we can arrange something.
  3. By all means. The Front driver side is in good condition. I am afraid my front passenger side is faulty. Both rears are healthy as well.

  5. Definitely a better ride, didn't bother me much on speed humps. I actually didn't notice the 30 mm lowering until I was stepping out of the car and noticed the lower threshold. At least it's back on the tarmac.
  6. This one should be ok then It should take 3.5 l So the 4 l package will be ok Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172423018688
  7. There is now a new Selenia range of oils http://www.selenia.com/en/selenia-nuova-gamma.asp Which one should I go for the Multi air petrol 1.4 many are 5w40, I am afraid that the multi air is a pit pick and would incur some damage if wrong flavour is used. If I do less than 5k a year, is it safe to change oil and filter every 24 month.
  8. ? That's very helpful thanks guys.
  9. Do you need to replace coolant even if it hasn't dropped level, mine is 11 registered been with me for 3 years now and never touched the coolant.!!
  10. This forum has proved indispensable for a Delta owner. I had the misfortune of a snapped passenger side spring coil, originals come in pairs with a hefty £300 price tag. I am going for an advice I got from the forum for a suspension lowering eipache kit been backed and shipped and hopefully by next week will be fitted OK. I will have surplus driver side and the 2 back ones old and bit rusty of course (11 reg) but can solve a problem and get a Delta back on the road. I can find some space in the garage or the attic to keep these in case a mate in the forum needs them, can ship for what it costs. Do you think we should set a spares thread....
  11. I was referring to the eipach pro suspension kit. On the shared link that fleraflav posted. It mentions Lancia delta iii diesel and petrol. But the site didn't specify my engine as compatible. My question was does it makes a difference in fitting from diesel to petrol cars. I thought spring coil fitting and suspension will be the same. I am quite keen to order this kit and have it fitted but don't want any bad surprises on fitting.
  12. My petrol multi air passenger side coil broke. Originals can be ordered and will cost 125 plus vat and labour. Looking at changing all 4 with the eipach pro kit. Do you think it makes a difference in fitting from diesel to petrol. Last verdict on lowering the car, with road humps problem, not a problem? Quoted £220 for labour to fit all 4, sounds reasonable?
  13. I had my 20k service at automech at Birmingham. I noticed that the engine cover is a bit loose, not a big deal for me to drive back to Birmingham. Any ideas how to fit it properly.
  14. Suggeations for oil for the petrol 1.4 multiair. Selena oil : any specific variant filter any tricky issues or just order from euro car parts. thanks mates
  15. By the way I am taking your advice and having my first service 18000 at motor mech in Birmingham.
  16. Dear Nello, likewise I shift to 6th gear as early as possible. Rosso, I did read that for official mpg test they run the car with minimum weight and unrealistic conditions (which magazine), so I expected a difference but not that high. 60 was my own average estimation not the trip computer's , I am not that fast;) Cheers guys D
  17. Thanks Nello It is quite a relief to know this. Guess will have to live with it and won't pay further. Rosso, thanks a lot guys.
  18. Hi, I need to share with you guys something I noticed on my 1.4 multiair manual gearbox. The second gear gives you quite a limited time torque, so you constantly need to drop to first gear whenever you are on a slope or something. I had the clutch disc replaced and still this is remarkably irritating. Compared to other cars that I have driven that's noticeable. I am aware of features like Linearisation Torque Feedback (LTF), Torque Transfer Control (TTC) and Drive Steering Torque (DST), all of which are supposed to enhance torque, could it be that these are gone faulty. I got my car second hand so I need to find out whether that's simply something with the short gearbox lanes or do I need to pursue things further. Thanks

  20. Hi guys, Got the petrol 1.4 multiair. Official mpg says 49.5 combined. I am no where near that. Last week on a 200 mile drive on the motorway (fully loaded , through!), I got 44 mpg on average speed of 60. In town I am getting like 28- 32 mpg ,and I am not a turbo burner. Any experiences to share?
