  1. Hi all

I dont think i have a problem but just thought I'd ask the question. I dont suffer with bad starting or a flat battery.

All it is i thought I would check the battery and the voltage just to see what i get going into the battery when engine is running. Well i get 13.5v . Is this right i always thought an alternator gave out around 14 to 14.4v. Is my alternator running abit low

    My car is a 2006 2.8crd voyager

    Thanks Daz

  2. Have a check on your handbrake adjustment also just drop the rear wheels off and just make sure the brake pads are sitting correctly. When i do mine the brake pad with the piece od spring steel on it i normally bend it so to release some of the pressure when it sits in the calliper. As iv seen them stick and cause the rear brakes to bind
  3. Hi any sliding parts on the calipers should only have silicone brake grease. Also give the edges of the pads a file to get any paint off and so they are free in the caliper. Copper slip isnt as good as it used to be as it goes all gundgy so it makes everything stick. So silicone grease is now the way to go. Plus your wheels they will get warm due to friction from the road and the heat transfers from the normal braking of the vehicle
  4. You say you had your car 5 months if you bought it from a dealer the law states it is cover by sale of goods act that's for the first 6 months to cover any repairs refund or replacement. Not many people know this. Please look up sale of goods act on a uesd vehicle. If you bought the vehicle private then it's called buyer beware you can't do anything
  5. Hi all I phoned chrysler about my 2006 2.8 crd voyager and the advised me that there was an outstanding recall on it. the recall is the airbag sensors so it's going into platts garage in Stoke tomorrow morning to be done.

If anyone isn't sure about there cars just phone a dealer and asked them to check.

    That's all I did

  6. There's a lot of mixed reviews about lucas stop slip. But more good thanks bad. Will definitely look into it more. But as for atf+4 I phoned my local dealer and asked about this atf+4.as i here this is a must and nothing else will do as if you use anything else it will be the end of the universe as we know. The service chap said any atf will be fine in this vehicle but I'll put you through to parts. So parts came on the phone and said . Yes atf+4 or any equivalent. But to be honest and atf will be fine. So I have found an equivalent from comma so that's what I'm going to use at only £8.30 a ltr not to bad a price
