I am looking for an engine to fit a 2006 Voyager 2.5 crd. I have been told this year car had 2 or 3 different engines. If anyone could tell me how to identify the differences I would appreciate it!

My 2006 Voyager needs a new engine. Have had various different answers from Ebay sellers as to which engines are compatible. Heard that the 2006 engine is different to all others in the fact that the fuel filter is at the front and the EGR valve at the rear. Does anyone have any experience of this? Can an earlier engine be modified to fit? Basically any help as I am getting frustrated at the lack of information available online!
