Hi Guys, I have joined for some serious advice. I acquired a 1999 Grand Voyager LX Auto on Sept 2012 immaculate condition with a full service history till 2010 at 121054 miles it had been parked outside not moved for the previous 6 months passed Mot no prob. New manufacturers engine at 34600 miles. Now done 142000 I have spent just under a £1000 on tyres exhaust & brakes + 1 cv joint, since 2012. I've fell love with the car a bit juicy but comfortable. Mechanic has just told me that he thinks the diff bearings have gone that best bet is to get a gearbox from ebay or get rid of it. either way its going to cost. Any advice would be appreciated, what would it cost to replace the gearbox & any advice on where to go for best deal ? Thanks.
